IMAD Travel plans Iceland tour packages from India for every season — Northern Lights winter tours, a full Ring Road circle, Christmas and New Year departures, and summer tours with the Westfjords and whale watching. Prices start at ₹1,35,900 (€1,235) per person for five days and go up to ₹7,37,000 (€6,700) for the twelve-day Grand Tour, land-only on twin sharing.
Every tour is a land package: it starts and ends at Keflavík airport, so it is the same trip whether you fly from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi or Bengaluru. We book your flights separately at the live fare from your city, and our in-house team handles your Schengen visa, which Iceland requires.
Iceland is not a cheap destination, and we don’t pretend it is. What we do is match you to the right trip: a guided group tour when that gives the best value, a small-group tour in first-class hotels when comfort matters, or a fully private itinerary for honeymoons and families.
Plan your Iceland trip: tell us your month, how many days you have and who is travelling. Vipasha on our Europe desk will send options the same working day.

All prices are land packages, per person on twin sharing. Rupee figures are calculated at €1 = ₹110 (October 2026); the final INR is confirmed at the exchange rate on the day of booking. Flights are booked separately at the live fare from your city.
Need something different? Every route above can be built as a private trip — your own dates, a private vehicle and guide, and hotels of your choice. Private and luxury Iceland trips are quoted per departure.
Come in winter for the Northern Lights. From late September to mid-April the nights are long and dark enough for the aurora. The 5-day Land of Northern Lights is the shortest way to try; the 8-day Iceland Circle gives you five evenings of aurora hunting and the whole island; the 11-day Westfjords tour adds the darkest skies in the country. Daylight is short in December and January — four to five hours — so sightseeing happens in soft, low light.
Come in summer for the landscapes. From May to August the roads to the far west and the highlands are open, puffins nest on the cliffs and the sun barely sets. The 12-day Grand Tour covers everything, including the Westfjords and whale watching. There are no Northern Lights in summer — the sky is too bright.
Come for Christmas or New Year for something no other trip offers: a festive dinner in the countryside, village Christmas lights or the New Year’s Eve bonfires and fireworks. There is one departure each — Christmas, 23–27 Dec and New Year, 29 Dec–2 Jan — and seats go early.
Choose comfort over coverage with Gracious Southwest Iceland: seven days in first-class hotels, a group of no more than 22, fewer hotel changes and three hot-spring visits. It runs all year.
An Iceland trip from India costs ₹1,35,900 (€1,235) to ₹7,37,000 (€6,700) per person for the land package, depending on the number of days, the season and the hotel class. Add your international flights, the Schengen visa and the meals that aren’t included.
| Trip type | Example tour | Per person (land) | Per couple (land) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short winter break (5 days) | Land of Northern Lights | ₹1,35,900 (€1,235) | ₹2,71,800 (€2,470) |
| Holiday departure (5 days) | Christmas / New Year in Iceland | ₹2,14,500 (€1,950) – ₹2,28,800 (€2,080) | ₹4,29,000 – ₹4,57,600 (€3,900 – €4,160) |
| Whole island in winter (8 days) | Iceland Circle & Northern Lights | ₹3,25,600 (€2,960) | ₹6,51,200 (€5,920) |
| First-class, small group (7 days) | Gracious Southwest Iceland | ₹4,82,900 (€4,390) | ₹9,65,800 (€8,780) |
| South + Westfjords (11 days) | Northern Lights & Westfjords | ₹4,76,900 (€4,335) | ₹9,53,800 (€8,670) |
| Complete summer circle (12 days) | Grand Tour of Iceland | ₹7,37,000 (€6,700) | ₹14,74,000 (€13,400) |
Rupee figures calculated at €1 = ₹110 (October 2026); the final INR is confirmed at the exchange rate on the day of booking.
What else to budget for:
Iceland trip cost from India for a couple: from ₹2,71,800 (€2,470) per couple for five days in winter, land-only, up to ₹14,74,000 (€13,400) for the twelve-day Grand Tour. Most couples we plan for land between ₹6,51,200 and ₹9,65,800 (€5,920 – €8,780) — the eight-day circle or seven days in first-class hotels.
What moves the price. Season first — September and summer are the most expensive months on most tours, November to March the least. Then hotel class and group size: a small-group tour in first-class hotels costs more per day than a 40-seat coach tour, and a private trip more again.
Iceland is one of the most memorable honeymoons we plan — a soak in a geothermal lagoon, an ice tunnel inside a glacier and, in winter, the Northern Lights over a quiet country hotel.

Yes. Iceland is part of the Schengen area, so Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa. The government fee is ₹9,900 (€90) per adult. You can apply up to six months before travel, and we recommend applying at least six to eight weeks ahead — appointment slots fill quickly before the holidays and summer.
Our in-house visa team prepares your file, books your appointment and checks every document before you submit. See our Schengen visa service for details.
Any Indian city. Because our tours are land packages that start and end at Keflavík airport, the trip is identical wherever you fly from — we simply book your flights from your nearest airport.

Send us your city with your dates, and we’ll quote the land package and the flight separately, so you can see exactly what each part costs.
Our group tours give the best value, but many of our clients travel privately: a honeymoon, a family with grandparents, or a group of friends who want their own pace. A private Iceland trip gives you your own vehicle and guide, boutique or luxury hotels, and the freedom to stop wherever the light is good.
Luxury rates aren’t published — hotels and transport in Iceland change by month and season — so we quote each private trip on your dates.

Five days covers Reykjavík, the South Coast and the Golden Circle. Seven or eight days lets you see the glacier lagoon or go right round the island. Twelve days adds the Westfjords and the north.
From late September to mid-April, on clear, dark nights. They are never guaranteed, so tours with more evenings — five on the 8-day circle, six on the 11-day Westfjords tour — give you better odds.
