Why we started IMAD Travel

IMAD Travel opened in Banjara Hills in June 2011, and for the first few years we were mostly a domestic and Umrah desk — Kashmir and Kerala families in summer, Umrah pilgrims through the year. What grew the business wasn’t advertising; it was travellers coming back and sending their relatives. Fifteen years on, we hold certifications from the Ministry of Tourism of India and a licence from the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah (KSA), we’re IATA-accredited and TAAI members, and we plan trips across 40+ countries. But the way we work hasn’t changed: one named coordinator per trip, from your first quote to the day you land back home. That’s still why most of our bookings come from past travellers and their referrals.
