Featured Europe Honeymoon Packages from India

These are the Europe itineraries IMAD Travel tailors most often as Europe honeymoon packages from India. Each is built around a country pairing that pairs well — not a 7-country sprint. All prices below are land-only (hotels, intercity transport, transfers, breakfast, sightseeing, Schengen visa where applicable, travel insurance). Airfare from your departure city is quoted separately — see the note at the end of this section for why we do it that way.

These itineraries are equally suitable for couples and small family groups. For honeymooners, we add the following at no extra cost: room décor on arrival, a honeymoon cake, one private dinner, room-category upgrade where the hotel offers it on the date, and a spa or experience credit where the hotel provides it.

Best for couples doing Europe for the first time

9 Days London-Paris-Switzerland Tour Package — 8 nights · 3 countries · From ₹1,62,000 per person (land cost) The most-booked Europe trip we plan, and the strongest “first Europe honeymoon” combination: London for big-city culture, Paris for the romantic anchor, Switzerland for Alps and lake scenery. Note: needs both a UK visitor visa and a Schengen visa — both handled in-house.

5 Days London-Paris Tour Package — 4 nights · 2 countries · From ₹73,200 per person (land cost) Short-window honeymoon that still hits the two most-asked-about cities. Eurostar between London and Paris. Right for couples with limited leave or a tight post-wedding turnaround.

7 Days London-Amsterdam-Paris Tour Package — 6 nights · 3 countries · From ₹1,32,000 per person (land cost) Three cities by train, no internal flights, very efficient. Adds Amsterdam’s canals to the London-Paris core.

Best for couples who want one country, done deeper

8 Days Paris, Normandy & the Loire Tour Package — 7 nights · 1 country · From ₹1,30,299 per person (land cost) Paris paired with the French countryside — Normandy and the Loire Valley. The honeymoon for couples who’d rather see one country properly than three at half-speed. Strong for second-time travellers to Europe.

5 Days London Tour Package — 4 nights · UK only · From ₹57,200 per person (land cost) London-only honeymoon — useful if one of you holds a UK visitor visa already, or you want a shorter trip without the Schengen documentation. UK Standard Visitor Visa handled by our in-house team.

Best for couples who want strong value + Eastern Europe character

7 Days Prague Holiday Package — 6 nights · From ₹1,16,500 per person (land cost) Prague is the most-romantic, lowest-cost Schengen capital we book. Add Karlovy Vary and Český Krumlov on day trips. Honeymooners consistently rate it above expectation.

6 Days Prague Trip Package — 5 nights · From ₹1,05,000 per person (land cost) The shorter Prague itinerary — same core city, tighter pacing.

5 Days Budapest Tour Package — 4 nights · From ₹77,350 per person (land cost) Budapest deserves its own visit, not a half-day in a Prague-Vienna-Budapest sprint. Thermal baths, a nighttime Danube cruise, and Parliament — a complete honeymoon in one underrated city.

Best for couples who want Spanish or Mediterranean character

7 Days Barcelona-Ibiza Tour Package — 6 nights · From ₹84,000 per person (land cost) Barcelona’s Gaudí architecture paired with Ibiza beach time. Beach-honeymoon-in-Europe option that doesn’t need a separate flight to Greece.

7 Days Madrid-Seville-Marbella Tour Package — 6 nights · From ₹1,00,000 per person (land cost) Southern Spain — Madrid city, Seville’s Andalusian heart, finishing on the Marbella coast. Warmer-weather honeymoon, good for off-season Europe (Oct–Apr).

Best for couples who want beach or coast

7 Days Croatia Tour Package — 6 nights · From ₹1,73,500 per person (land cost) Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Zagreb. Adriatic coast scenery, walled-old-towns, less-crowded than Italy or Greece on equivalent dates. Schengen visa applies (Croatia joined Jan 2023).

Best for couples who want something out of the ordinary

7 Days Iceland Tour Package — 6 nights · From ₹1,69,000 per person (land cost) Northern Lights honeymoon (Sep–Mar) or midnight-sun honeymoon (Jun–Jul) — Iceland is the most-photographed honeymoon we book. Premium niche.

8 Days Georgia Tour Package — 7 nights · From ₹86,000 per person (land cost) Tbilisi, Batumi (Black Sea coast), Kazbegi mountains. Visa rules for Indian passports (2026): visa-free entry for up to 30 days if you already hold a valid US, UK, Schengen, Canada, Australia, Japan, or South Korea visa or residence permit; otherwise apply for the Georgia eVisa online before travel (typically 5–7 working days, no embassy visit). No visa-on-arrival. The fastest, lowest-friction “Europe” honeymoon in our list if you already hold an eligible visa.

7 Days Georgia Travel Package — Tbilisi, Batumi, Kakheti — 6 nights · From ₹75,000 per person (land cost) Same visa logic as above, with the Kakheti wine region added — a quieter, more romantic version of the standard Georgia itinerary.

Two practical notes from couples we’ve actually planned for. First, the most-Instagrammed Europe honeymoons aren’t necessarily the most-enjoyed ones — Prague and Budapest consistently get higher post-trip ratings from our honeymooners than longer London-Paris-Switzerland trips, mostly because the pacing is easier. Second, if your wedding-to-departure window is short (under three weeks) and you already hold a valid US, UK, or Schengen visa, Georgia is the right answer — visa-free entry for Indians on those credentials, no embassy queue, direct flight options from Indian metros, and a genuine Europe-flavoured trip. Couples without an existing US/UK/Schengen visa can still go to Georgia on an eVisa (5–7 working days, fully online), but that’s a different timeline.

Don’t see what you want?

We also plan Switzerland-only, Italy-only, Greek-island, and Vienna-Salzburg honeymoons as custom itineraries — these aren’t packaged on the site yet, but they’re some of our most-booked trips. Tell us what you have in mind on WhatsApp and we’ll quote a custom package.

Price transparency note (the airfare-excluded explanation)

Why our prices are land-only. Airfare from India to Europe varies by departure city, season, and how early you book — anywhere from ₹45,000 per person from a metro hub to ₹85,000 from a tier-2 city in peak. Bundling a single “from ₹X all-in” number means either inflating the metro price or under-quoting the tier-2 one. We quote land cost separately so you see exactly what you’re paying for. We then add the best available airfare from your departure city, including from cities that don’t have direct flights.

Which European Countries Pair Well for Honeymoon Package — and Which Don't

A good Europe honeymoon pairs countries that work together by climate, train links, and what they let you do at the same pace. A weak honeymoon pairs countries that fight each other — like Italy and Iceland in the same week. Here are the pairings that genuinely work, and the ones to skip.

Pairings that work for Europe Honeymoon Packages

Switzerland + Paris — Mountain plus city, no climate clash, 3-hour TGV between them. The most-booked Europe honeymoon for a reason. Best in May–September.

Switzerland + Italy — Geneva or Zurich to Milan is 3–4 hours by direct train. Alpine scenery transitions cleanly into Italian lakes (Como, Maggiore) and then into Florence or Venice. Works May–October.

Paris + French Riviera (Nice/Cannes) — Same country, fast TGV south, very Indian-honeymoon-friendly. Lets you go from Eiffel-Tower romance to Mediterranean coast without an internal flight. Best May–September.

London + Paris (+ optional Amsterdam or Switzerland) — Eurostar handles London–Paris in 2h 15min. Add a third city by train. The only routing where you’ll need both a UK and a Schengen visa — our visa team handles both as one workflow.

Prague + Vienna + Budapest — All within 2–4 hour train rides of each other, similar architecture and cuisine, lowest-priced Schengen capitals. Strong value pairing. Works April–October.

Italy + Greece — Catamaran or short flight from Bari, Ancona or Venice across to the Greek islands. Best for couples who want both ancient history and beach. June–September.

Spain + Portugal — Madrid–Lisbon by overnight train or short flight. Warmer climate makes it the best off-season Europe honeymoon (October to April).

Pairings to skip

Iceland + anywhere else in Europe — Iceland is a destination of its own. Tacking it onto a city trip means three days of travel and you’ll feel rushed in both halves. Plan Iceland as a standalone or pair only with London (direct 3-hour flight).

Northern Europe + Southern Europe in shoulder season — Norway and Greece in the same week means packing for snow and beach simultaneously. Possible, but not relaxing. Save one for a return trip.

5+ countries in 10 nights — Every couple who has done this has told us they’d plan it differently next time. You spend more time in train stations and airports than in the places you came to see. Two or three countries is the right number for a honeymoon.

Greek Islands hopping across more than two islands — Each ferry is half a day of logistics. Two islands plus Athens is the natural shape; three islands is a working holiday.

The honest framing

A honeymoon is not the trip to over-pack. We routinely talk couples out of adding a fourth country or a fifth city — partly because the trip itself becomes a slog, but mostly because pacing is what couples remember most when they look back at honeymoon photos five years later. The best feedback we get is from itineraries that on paper looked “too short.”

Europe Honeymoon Packages by Duration — 5, 7, 10 or 14 Days

Most Indian couple’s honeymoon length is dictated by post-wedding leave, not by what they’d ideally want. Here’s how we plan trips at each duration — and what’s actually feasible without making the honeymoon feel like a tour.

5 to 6 nights — the short-window honeymoon

The realistic shape: one country done properly, or two cities by train. Don’t try Schengen multi-country here — visa documentation alone takes the romance out. Best options:

7 nights — the most-common Europe honeymoon length

The natural shape: two countries (or one country + nearby region), 2–3 hotel changes, mostly train travel. This is where most of our honeymoon bookings land. Best options:

9 to 10 nights — the room-to-breathe honeymoon

Three countries become viable, or two countries done at honeymoon pace (not tour pace). Best options:

  • 9 Days London-Paris-Switzerland Tour Package — three countries, three visas (UK + Schengen)
  • Switzerland + Italy custom — Alps to Mediterranean (ask us for a custom quote)
  • Italy + Greece custom — Rome/Florence to Santorini/Mykonos
  • Prague + Vienna + Budapest custom

12 to 14 nights — the once-in-a-lifetime Europe honeymoon

The trip most couples aspire to and only a few have the leave for. Realistic shape: 3–4 destinations, mix of city and resort, premium hotels for the last 2–3 nights. We custom-build these — they’re our most-booked custom Europe honeymoons. Ask for a quote.

The duration honest framing

If you can choose your dates, the sweet spot is 9 nights — long enough to add a third country without rushing, short enough that you don’t lose momentum. If you’re stuck at 5 or 6 nights, do one place well rather than rushing two. Five great nights in Paris is a better honeymoon than five rushed nights across three countries.

When to Go — Europe Honeymoon by Season

Europe has a honeymoon-worthy destination in almost every month — but the destination changes. For most Indian couples the wedding date is fixed and the honeymoon date follows from it; the job is matching the month you’re free to the place that’s at its best.

Month-by-month table:

If you're travelling in…Best Europe honeymoon destinationsWhat to know
Jan – FebIceland (Northern Lights), Switzerland (ski/snow), Lapland, Madrid + AndalusiaEuropean winter — cold but lower prices and almost no tourist crowds; Schengen processing is fastest
Mar – AprSpain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Paris, Greece (early season)Shoulder season — best weather-to-price ratio of the year; cherry blossoms in Paris early April
May – JunAll Western Europe, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Eastern EuropePeak honeymoon season — book 8 weeks ahead, Schengen processing slows to 21–28 days
Jul – AugSwitzerland, Iceland (midnight sun), Scandinavia, Northern EuropePeak everywhere but hot in southern Europe; Mediterranean very crowded; cooler northern destinations are better
Sep – OctGreek islands, Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, PragueThe locals' favourite time — warm enough for beach, light enough for cities, smaller crowds, lower prices
Nov – DecChristmas markets (Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Strasbourg), London, Paris, IcelandDecember Christmas-market honeymoons are an underrated winter trip; flights cheaper before Indian winter peak

Three things worth knowing about timing. First, the Indian wedding season (Nov–Feb and Apr–Jun) overlaps with both Europe shoulder and peak seasons, so the Schengen consulate calendar is busiest exactly when Indian honeymooners need it most — apply early. Second, May to August Schengen processing routinely extends to 28 days, so a six-week buffer is the realistic minimum. Third, off-season Europe (October to March) is genuinely underrated for honeymoons — Christmas markets, Northern Lights, almost no other Indian couples, hotel rates 30–50% lower, and your photos won’t have other people’s selfies in them.

The seasonal honesty point:

If your honeymoon dates fall in July–August and you’re set on Italy or Greece, expect heat (35°C+ in Rome, 38°C+ in Athens) and crowded ruins. Either pivot to Switzerland, Scandinavia or Iceland for those months, or accept the trade-off. We’ll tell you on the call which one fits you better.

Schengen and UK Visa — How IMAD Handles It

A visa rejection doesn’t just cost the application fee — it cancels the honeymoon, often with non-refundable hotels and flights already booked. IMAD’s in-house Schengen visa team handles your application as part of the package, not as an add-on. Here’s exactly what we do and what timeline to plan around.

Schengen visa — the standard process for an Indian passport

Who needs it: Indian passport holders travelling to any of the 29 Schengen countries — France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Croatia, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, and others. What we do as part of the package: Free 15-minute eligibility review before you commit. Complete document checklist customised to your destination country. VFS appointment booking. Cover letter and detailed day-wise itinerary drafted to consular standard. Hotel and flight bookings that meet consular requirements — real refundable reservations, not throwaway bookings. Mandatory €30,000 travel insurance arranged. Interview preparation for the rare Schengen interview countries. Post-rejection re-application support if needed. Processing time: 15 working days standard. Peak honeymoon season (May–August) routinely extends to 21–28 days. We recommend applying 6–8 weeks before travel. Service fee: Starting at ₹3,500 per applicant. Government and VFS fees additional, paid directly.

UK visa — needed only for London-inclusive itineraries

Who needs it: Indian passport holders entering the UK — separate from Schengen, with its own VFS process and documentation. What we do: Standard Visitor Visa application, VFS appointment, sponsor letter coordination if you have UK family, Appendix-2 financial summary, document review. Processing time: 3–6 weeks. Apply 8 weeks ahead for safety. Service fee: Starting at ₹3,500 per applicant. Why this matters for honeymoons: Our London-Paris and London-Paris-Switzerland packages need both a UK visa and a Schengen visa. We file them as one workflow — same team, same document review, same coordinator — so you don’t pay two agencies to do the same job twice.

The honest visa framing

Three things we’ll tell you that other agents won’t. First, no honest visa agent guarantees approval — only the consular officer decides. We don’t take cases we don’t think will be approved; if your case has a red flag (recent rejection, unclear funds, weak ties to India), we tell you before you pay anything. Second, “cheap” visa agents are usually expensive — a rejected first application makes the second one harder, and the consulate keeps the file. Third, the Schengen visa is the easier of the two for Indian passports; the UK Standard Visitor Visa is the stricter assessment. Plan accordingly.

Visa support is included in package pricing

Unlike most competitors who charge visa fees separately, IMAD includes Schengen visa service in the package price for honeymoon bookings. Government VFS fees and the consulate application fee are still paid directly — those aren’t ours to bundle — but our service fee is part of what you’ve already paid for the trip.

Common FAQ about Europe Honeymoon Packages from India

How much does a Europe honeymoon from India cost?

Land cost (everything except airfare) for an IMAD Europe honeymoon ranges from roughly ₹75,000 per person for a 5-night single-country trip to ₹3,00,000+ per person for a 12-night multi-country luxury itinerary. Airfare from India adds roughly ₹45,000–₹85,000 per person depending on your departure city, season, and how early you book. Every quote is fully itemised — see Section 3 for our featured packages.

Seven nights is the most-common length and works for most two-country pairings (Switzerland + Paris, London + Paris, Prague + Vienna). Nine to ten nights is the sweet spot if you can take the leave — long enough for three countries without rushing. Anything under five nights, do one country properly rather than rushing two.

It depends on what kind of honeymoon you want. For mountains and lakes, Switzerland. For city romance, Paris. For warm-weather and beach, Greece or Croatia. For value with character, Prague or Budapest. For something unusual, Iceland. We don’t believe in a single “best” — the right answer depends on your dates, budget, and what you want the trip to feel like.

September–October is the locals’ favourite — warm weather, smaller crowds, lower prices, and the photos look better. May–June is peak season and the busiest for Indian honeymoon bookings; book 8 weeks ahead. December (Christmas markets) and January–February (Iceland Northern Lights) are underrated winter options. July–August is hot in southern Europe; consider Switzerland, Scandinavia or Iceland for those months.

Apply 6–8 weeks before travel. Standard processing is 15 working days, but May–August peak season routinely extends to 21–28 days. Indian wedding season overlaps with peak Schengen processing, so apply as soon as your dates are firm and the wedding date confirmed.

Yes — in-house, as part of the package. Our visa team has processed thousands of Schengen applications for Indian passport holders since 2011. We handle document review, VFS booking, cover letter and itinerary drafting, insurance, and post-rejection support if needed. Service fee is included in package pricing for honeymoon bookings; government VFS and consulate fees are paid directly.

We file both as one workflow — same team, same document review, same coordinator. UK Standard Visitor Visa takes 3–6 weeks and the Schengen takes 15–28 working days, so we plan the UK application first. Apply 8 weeks before travel to cover both timelines.

Yes — we book international flights from any Indian metro and from tier-2 cities, including from cities without direct Europe connections. We quote airfare separately from the land package because it varies by departure city and booking date. You’ll see the full all-in cost on the quote, but each component is broken out so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.

Tight, but possible. The Schengen visa is the bottleneck — 15 working days standard, longer in peak season. If you already hold a valid US, UK, or Schengen visa, Georgia is a much faster option (visa-free entry for Indians on those credentials). For Schengen-required destinations on short notice, Prague, Budapest and Croatia tend to have faster appointment availability than France or Germany.

Yes. About 40% of our honeymoon couples are in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, or Pune. We plan the entire trip remotely — WhatsApp consultation, document review online, visa coordination at the VFS in your home city. The package price is the same regardless of where you live; only airfare from your departure city varies, and we quote that separately.

Most refundable hotel bookings can be cancelled, and our team handles re-application strategy if the reason is fixable. We don’t book non-refundable elements until the visa is approved — that’s a deliberate sequencing decision, not an industry standard. If the rejection reason is not fixable in time for the original dates, we work with you to either re-plan for later dates or refund what’s recoverable.

Direct hotel relationships across Europe (real availability and honeymoon perks where the hotel offers them), in-house Schengen and UK visa team (not outsourced), one named coordinator end-to-end, IATA accreditation with financial accountability, and 24/7 support during the trip. For a one-time, high-stakes trip on a fixed timeline, that’s worth more than the marginal savings of a DIY booking.
