The arrival transfer, hotels with breakfast, the Paris and London city tours, the Versailles excursion, the Eiffel Tower 2nd-floor ticket, the Seine cruise, the perfume museum, the Channel ferry and the London evening and museum transfers are arranged before you leave.
You land in Paris on a Saturday and transfer to your hotel. The next morning begins with Versailles, the palace of Louis XIV, with its Hall of Mirrors and its vast formal gardens. The excursion is included, while palace entry is optional. Back in the city you climb Montmartre, where the white Sacré-Cœur looks over the rooftops and painters still work in Place du Tertre. A local guide then shows you the grand avenues: the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Opéra and the river banks.
Your ticket to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower is included, and it is the level many Parisians say has the best view of the city. You also visit the Maison Fragonard, a perfume museum that tells the story of French fragrance from Grasse to Paris, and cruise the Seine for about an hour and a quarter, gliding under bridges past Notre-Dame and the Louvre. Around 4 pm you leave for Normandy.
Rouen is where Joan of Arc was tried, and where Monet painted the cathedral facade again and again. Its old town of half-timbered houses is a joy to walk in the evening and again the next morning. Then the coach heads to Calais, and the ferry crosses the English Channel to the white cliffs of Dover. In Canterbury, the religious heart of England, you have time to see the cathedral before driving on to London.
A local guide takes you around London: the Houses of Parliament, the Thames and Buckingham Palace, perhaps with the Changing of the Guard. In the evening the group sees Tower Bridge lit up, then walks through Leicester Square, Chinatown and Soho for dinner. The last day takes you to the British Museum, home of the Rosetta Stone and the Egyptian mummies, and to Camden market for lunch among street-food stalls and vintage shops.
It suits first-time visitors to Europe who want its two most famous cities; honeymoon couples, with a Seine cruise, Montmartre and Soho evenings; families with children, who love the Eiffel Tower, the ferry and the museums; and travellers who want a short trip that still feels complete.
Indian passport holders need two visas: a Schengen visa for France and a UK visa for England. Our visa team prepares both. Start about three months before travel. April to June and September are pleasant in both cities, and December brings Christmas lights and markets.
The tour ends in London after the British Museum and Camden on Day 6, so book your flight home for that night or the next day, or ask us to add London nights. Breakfast is included daily, and other meals are your own choice. Palace admission at Versailles is optional and best booked in advance. International flights are booked separately (into Paris, out of London), and our team can book them from any Indian city.
