Begin among the ruins of ancient Rome and finish under the lights of Piccadilly — this 12 Days Italy Switzerland Paris London Tour is a guided group tour that crosses six countries in twelve days, travelling north from Italy through the Alps to Paris, Normandy and London. It is planned and supported by IMAD Travel, an IATA-certified travel agency in Hyderabad serving travellers from across India since 2011. Prefer your own dates and hotels? Hotels with breakfast, guided city tours in Rome, Florence, Venice, Paris and London, the boat to St Mark’s Square, the Murano glass visit, the Grindelwald First cable car with lunch, the Eiffel Tower ticket, the Seine cruise and the Channel ferry are arranged before you leave. Departures run every Sunday with an English-only guide (Go English series).
Rome: the Eternal City by day and by night
Your Europe story starts in Rome. On the first evening a transfer takes you to Via Cavour, close to the Colosseum, where you will find Italian, Indian and international restaurants. The next morning a three-hour guided tour combines a walk through Imperial Rome — the Forum, the Colosseum, the Capitol — with a panoramic drive, ending in Vatican City before noon. The afternoon is free for St Peter’s Basilica or the optional Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, and at sunset the group heads to Trastevere, Rome’s most charming quarter of ivy-covered lanes and trattorias.
Florence and Venice: Renaissance art and city of canals
In Florence you go straight to Piazzale Michelangelo for the classic view of the red dome of the Duomo, then a local expert walks you past the Ponte Vecchio, the cathedral and Piazza della Signoria — a city that feels like an open-air museum. The next day the road crosses the Apennines to Venice. A boat glides across the Giudecca Canal to St Mark’s Square, where a local guide tells the story of the basilica and the Doge’s Palace, and a visit to a Murano glass workshop shows how glass has been blown here for centuries. The night is in Mestre, on the mainland.
Through the Tyrol to the Swiss Alps
Day 5 is a scenic drive into Austria, with lunch time in Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital with its Golden Roof and mountain backdrop, before crossing into Switzerland to Zurich. The next day belongs to the Alps: in Grindelwald, below the Eiger, a cable car rises to First, where a cliff path ends at a suspension bridge with glaciers all around. Lunch on the mountain is included. You then have free time in Lucerne, by the lake and the wooden Chapel Bridge. If snow is on your wish list, the guide offers an optional full day to Mount Titlis at over 3,000 metres.
Strasbourg and two nights in Paris
Heading west, you stop in Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, where French and German cultures meet in half-timbered houses and a pink sandstone cathedral. In Paris the first full day takes you to the Palace of Versailles and its gardens (entry tickets are bought locally), then up to Montmartre and on a panoramic tour of the grand boulevards with a local guide. The next morning includes the Maison Fragonard perfume museum, an hour-long Seine cruise and your Eiffel Tower 2nd floor ticket.
Normandy, the Channel and London
In the late afternoon of Day 9 you drive to Rouen, the capital of Normandy, with its Gothic cathedral painted by Monet and its medieval lanes where Joan of Arc was tried. The next day a ferry crosses the English Channel to Canterbury, the spiritual heart of England, and you reach London with free time at Tower Bridge. A local guide shows you Parliament, the Thames and Buckingham Palace, and in the evening the group walks through Leicester Square, Chinatown and Soho. The last day includes the British Museum and a transfer to Camden Market, with a free afternoon to shop before the tour ends.
Who this Rome to London tour suits
This 12 days Italy, Switzerland, Paris and London tour suits first-time visitors who want Europe’s biggest names in one trip with no gaps; couples and honeymooners who want Venice, the Alps and Paris together; families who like an English-only guide and a fixed plan; and travellers who would rather arrive in Rome and fly home from London than go back and forth. The pace is full but every city has free time.
Best time to go and visas
April to June and September to October are the most comfortable months for Italy and Paris; the Alps are green in summer and snowy from late autumn. Indian passport holders need two visas: a Schengen visa for Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France, and a UK visa for London. Our visa team prepares both files — start about three months before travel.
Good to know before you book
Breakfast is included daily, plus lunch on the Grindelwald day; Rome, Paris and London have many Indian and vegetarian restaurants. The tour ends after the London programme on Day 12, so book an evening flight home or add an extra night — our team can arrange both, and international flights into Rome and out of London from any Indian city. Prices start from €2,329 per person (₹2,56,190 at €1 = ₹110, October 2026) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates.
