We’re now in the 1448H (2026–27) Umrah season. IMAD Travel is a Ministry of Hajj & Umrah (KSA)-licensed and Ministry of Tourism of India-certified agent, and we’ve been arranging Umrah for pilgrims since 2011. Saudi Arabia reopened Umrah visa issuance on 31 May 2026, and pilgrim entry through the Nusuk app began on 1 June 2026, with visa issuance running until 9 March 2027. Under the season’s new rules, your hotel, transport and meals must be booked on the official Nusuk platform and linked to your visa before it is issued — and IMAD Travel arrange your complete Umrah visa online for pilgrims departing from Hyderabad, Mumbai, and any city in India. Before you plan your dates, see the full 1448H Umrah season calendar and key dates.

Saudi Arabia has changed how Umrah is booked, and it affects every pilgrim travelling from India. In simple terms: your hotel, transport, and catering must now be booked and paid through the Saudi government’s official Nusuk platform and linked to your Umrah visa before the visa is issued. A visa on its own is no longer enough — the Kingdom now checks that your full stay is arranged through Nusuk-approved providers.
This is a good change for pilgrims. It exists to stop accommodation scams, fake bookings, and the old problem of arriving to find no room held in your name. Everything is now documented in one official system, from booking to arrival.
Here’s what it means for you.
1. You book a complete package, not a visa alone. For Indian passport holders, a “visa-only” Umrah is no longer possible. Your visa must come bundled with confirmed hotels in Makkah and Madinah, your transport (airport transfers and the Makkah–Madinah journey), and your meals — all registered on Nusuk. As your agent, IMAD Travel arranges and confirms all of this on the platform on your behalf, because pilgrims in India cannot apply on Nusuk directly.
2. Your hotels must cover your full stay. Saudi rules now require a confirmed, Nusuk-registered hotel for every night you are in the Kingdom. Booking a hotel for only part of the trip and staying the rest with relatives is no longer permitted. We make sure your accommodation is continuous and correctly logged.
3. Your bookings are verified when you land. On arrival in Saudi Arabia, airport authorities can check that your hotel and transport match what is registered on Nusuk. As long as everything we booked for you is in the system — which it will be — this is simply a quick confirmation.
The old idea of an Umrah visa with an open 30-day or 90-day window — where you could simply arrive any time within the period — no longer applies the way it used to. Under the new system, your visa is issued against fixed dates: your landing date, your hotel check-in and check-out, and your internal transport routes are all set at the time of booking and locked to Nusuk.
You still have flexibility in when you plan your trip. You can book your Umrah visa well in advance — you might choose to travel 15 days from now, 40 days, or 70 days from now. That choice is yours at the time of booking.
What you cannot do is change your arrival date (or your booked hotels and transport) on your own once the visa is issued. Because every detail is tied to Nusuk, any date change must be updated on the platform by your agent before it takes effect.
So the rule is simple: if you want to change anything, tell us first. You can still adjust your program — shift your dates, change a hotel, upgrade your room, alter transport. Just message our Umrah desk with what you’d like to change, we update Nusuk, and confirm it back to you. Once it’s in the system, you’re free to proceed.
Please do not change your plans on your own and travel without informing us. If what you actually do on the ground — a different landing date, a different hotel, an unbooked journey — doesn’t match what’s recorded on Nusuk, you risk penalties, denied services, or problems at the airport. A two-minute message to us beforehand prevents all of it. We update the platform; you travel with peace of mind.
The one thing to remember: your Umrah is now fully linked to Nusuk. Book through us, and tell us before you change anything. We keep your Nusuk record accurate so nothing goes wrong during your pilgrimage.
Applying for your Umrah visa from India is straightforward when a licensed agent handles the Nusuk side for you. Here is the process with IMAD Travel.

To apply for an Umrah visa from India, you need the following ready. We send a personalised checklist when you begin, but here is the core list.
The last two are part of the new mandatory Nusuk requirements, and they are exactly what IMAD Travel handles on your behalf so your application is complete and compliant the first time.
Two entry rules to know for the 1448H season:
We serve Umrah pilgrims from any city in India, with dedicated departure desks for Hyderabad and Mumbai. The entire process can be handled remotely — consultation on WhatsApp, documents shared online, and your visa and itinerary delivered wherever you are.
Whichever city you depart from, the Nusuk requirements are identical, and our Umrah desk handles all of it for you.
Because the new rules bundle your visa with mandatory hotel, transport and catering bookings, Umrah is now arranged as a complete, Nusuk-linked package. Here is how our pricing works.
Pricing is transparent and confirmed upfront — everything is registered on Nusuk before you pay, with no hidden charges added later. For an exact quote based on your dates, city and package tier, message our Umrah desk on WhatsApp at +91 99597 77776.
Licensed, with real accountability. We’re licensed by the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah (KSA), certified by the Ministry of Tourism of India, IATA-accredited, and TAAI members. Your booking is handled by a registered agent, not an unverifiable middleman.
We handle the entire Nusuk process. The new rules add real complexity — Nusuk registration, linked bookings, fixed dates. We manage all of it, so your application is complete and compliant the first time, with nothing for you to figure out on the platform.
Proximity, food, and an Urdu-speaking team. Three things pilgrims consistently tell us matter most: hotels close to the Haram, authentic Hyderabadi and Indian meals, and a team that speaks your language. We plan every package around those.
345+ verified Google reviews. Not a marketing claim — a public record at 4.9 out of 5. Many mention our Umrah desk by name.

No. As of the 1448H (2026–27) season, Saudi Arabia does not issue an Umrah visa to Indian pilgrims unless the hotel, transport, and catering are booked through the official Nusuk platform and linked to the visa first. IMAD Travel arranges all of this for you as a complete package.
Not from India. Indian passport holders must apply through a licensed agent registered on Nusuk. We handle the full application and all platform bookings on your behalf.
The old open 30-day or 90-day window no longer applies the way it used to. Your visa is now issued against fixed dates — your landing date, hotels, and transport are set at booking and locked to Nusuk. You can book well in advance, but you cannot change your arrival date without your agent updating Nusuk first.
Yes, you can change your program — but the change must be updated on Nusuk by your agent before you travel. Message our Umrah desk with what you’d like to change, we update Nusuk, and confirm it back to you. Never change your plans and travel without informing us, as your bookings are verified against Nusuk on arrival.
Your hotel and transport are checked against the Nusuk record when you arrive. If your actual plans don’t match, you can face penalties, denied services, or delays. Telling us before any change keeps your record accurate and avoids all of this.
Yes. Under the new procedure, catering is booked and paid through Nusuk alongside accommodation and transport. Your IMAD Umrah package includes this, with authentic Hyderabadi and Indian meal options.
Yes. We serve pilgrims from any city in India and handle the entire process remotely. Hyderabad and Mumbai have dedicated departure desks.
Typically 3-5 working days once your documents and Nusuk bookings are complete.
A passport valid for at least 6 months (front and back copy), a clear Saudi-spec passport photo, and a confirmed return flight ticket. The mandatory Nusuk hotel and transport bookings are arranged by us.
The general Umrah visa for the 1448H (2026–27) season allows a stay of up to 15 days. Your travel dates are set when you book and linked to Nusuk.
Your flight into Saudi Arabia must land at Jeddah (King Abdulaziz International Airport). We confirm this when arranging your booking, so plan your flights to arrive at Jeddah.
