A white Christmas under the Northern Lights. This five-day guided break puts you in the Icelandic countryside for Christmas Eve: a drive through villages lit up for the season, a festive four-course dinner at your hotel in Hella, then a walk into the hotel garden to look for the aurora. The rest of the trip covers Iceland’s best winter sights — the Blue Lagoon, the South Coast and the Golden Circle — and ends with a fine-dining dinner in Reykjavík on 26 December. It suits couples, honeymooners and families with children of 8 and above.
The South Coast is the day to remember. You drive beneath the Eyjafjallajökull volcano to Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, see the turf houses of the Skógar Folk Museum, walk on the black sand of Reynisfjara with the Reynisdrangar sea stacks offshore, and stop in the little town of Vík. Don’t miss the view from Dyrhólaey in the low midwinter light. On the Golden Circle, Þingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss are quiet over the holiday.
Why go now? There is one departure a year, on 23 December, with only 40 seats — Christmas dates go first, so plan now for this season. Iceland is a Schengen country, and pre-holiday visa appointments fill fast; our team arranges your Schengen visa along with the tour. Late December is deep in the Northern Lights season — see the best time to see the Northern Lights.
Good to know: this is a group coach tour with a maximum of 40 travellers. For a custom private package — your own dates, private vehicle and guide, upgraded hotels — please contact our team for a personalised quote. Daylight is short at Christmas (roughly four to five hours), so pack thermals, a windproof jacket and waterproof shoes. Breakfast is included daily plus the two special dinners; on 25 December dinner is your own. The from-price uses budget rooms (the Reykjavík room is compact, about 10 m²); a comfort upgrade is available. You arrive and leave through Keflavík on the Flybus shuttle, and flights are booked separately from any Indian city. Minimum age is 8. Northern Lights can’t be guaranteed. Prices from €1,950 per person (about ₹2,14,500) on twin sharing.
WhatsApp +91 63003 03169 to hold seats on the 23 December departure, add Reykjavík nights or ask about the comfort upgrade.
