On the second day of your 8 Days South Korea Travel Package from India with IMAD Travel, you’ll start your morning with breakfast before being collected from your hotel for an extensive tour of Seoul and its nearby attractions.
The journey begins at Jogyesa Temple, the heart of Korean Buddhism. Next, you’ll head to Gyeongbokgung Palace to observe the guard-changing ceremony, followed by a visit to the National Folk Museum.
After enjoying lunch, we will proceed to the Korean Folk Village located on Seoul’s outskirts. This site offers a glimpse into late Joseon Dynasty culture as you explore over 260 traditional houses and structures.

On the third day, following breakfast, we depart from Seoul and head towards Gongju.
Our first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Tomb of King Muryeong and the Royal Tombs. This burial site, dating back to 500 AD, was unearthed in 1927 and offers a glimpse into the Ungjin Period.
Next, we explore the magnificent Gongsanseong Fortress before moving on to Buyeo, a former capital of the Baekje Dynasty.

Day 6: Today’s journey is particularly memorable, starting with a visit to the Seokguram Grotto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built between 742 and 765 AD, this religious landmark remains important for both Korean and international Buddhists due to its ceremonial and artistic significance.
Our next stop is the UNESCO-listed Bulguksa Temple, followed by a trip to Andong Hahoe Folk Village. This village has maintained the architectural style and layout from the Joseon Dynasty era and is still home to residents today. It gained global recognition when Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain visited it.
We then travel on to Pyeongchang, a city celebrated for its stunning landscapes and as the host of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Pyeongchang offers an array of attractions, including top-tier ski resorts and captivating natural sights.

Our adventure continues to Mt. Seorak National Park, where the peaks of Seoraksan Mountains pierce through clouds and jade-colored streams flow through its valleys, offering stunning scenery. This park is renowned as Korea’s most famous national park and was recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 due to its many rare species. You can choose to take a cable car ride to the summit for an additional cost before we head back to Seoul for our last evening in South Korea.
