On Day 4 of your 15 Days Japan South Korea Tour Package from India, immerse yourself in the rich history of Gyeongju by exploring its numerous archaeological sites, temples, royal tombs, and monuments. Once the capital of the Silla Kingdom during the period when ancient Korea was divided into three kingdoms (Silla, Baekje, and Goguryeo), Gyeongju is a treasure trove of historical wonders. Begin with a visit to Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory, built in the 7th century under Queen Seon-deok's reign. Then proceed to Gyeongju National Museum to see an array of stone relics from the Silla era.
Next on your itinerary are two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto. The Bulguksa Temple complex boasts several national treasures, while Seokguram Grotto features an exquisite Buddha statue gazing out towards the sea.

On Day 9 of our 15 Days Japan South Korea Tour Package from India, we begin our journey towards the Mount Fuji region. Along the way, we will take a detour to explore a beer factory. Afterward, we visit Gotemba Peace Park, which offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji. If time allows, we'll proceed to Miho no Matsubara for another renowned perspective of Mt. Fuji.
Our day concludes in Hamamatsu, where we will enjoy a leisurely evening.
Day 11: This morning, we embark on the shinkansen bullet train, a marvel of modern engineering, taking us from Osaka to Kyoto at speeds reaching up to 280 km/h. The journey offers a rapid yet picturesque view of Japan's stunning countryside. Our first destination in Kyoto is Fushimi Inari Taisha, renowned for its thousands of red Shinto shrine gates.
We spend time exploring these gates and visiting the various shrines and temples within the area. Next, we head to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove for an enchanting stroll through its towering bamboo forest. Our final stop in Kyoto is the Golden Pavilion, a World Heritage site. This three-story Buddhist temple, built in the 14th century as a villa for a powerful shogun, is almost entirely adorned with gold leaf.
After our visit here, we return to Osaka.

Day 13: Following breakfast, we head towards Hiroshima. En route, we visit the magnificent Himeji Castle, also known as the White Heron Castle for its graceful architecture. As one of Japan's few surviving original medieval castles, Himeji Castle captivates with its grand scale and artistic design, making it a must-see attraction in Japan.
Take your time to explore and appreciate this historic site before we resume our journey to Hiroshima.
