Tour's Location

Is it possible to go from Leh to Srinagar in one day?

Yes, it is possible to accomplish this in a single day. The road that you will be travelling on is fantastic. Around Zojila Pass and Sonamarg, there are just a few sections with terrible roads. You may possibly encounter rain on your journey, which may cause the streets to become slick. You can also stop in Kargil to admire the scenery and pay a visit to the Kargil war memorial.

In Leh, what should I buy?

You will fall in love with Ladakh once you arrive and would not want to leave without purchasing souvenirs and gifts. The materials of their native and hand-made craft will wow you in the bazaars of Leh and Ladakh. Most Leh Ladakh tour packages provide time and space for travellers to shop for items such as coffee mugs, caps, t-shirts, antiques, everyday items, personalised items, Tibetan pieces, and so on.

The beautifully designed pashmina clothing and local-made caps, sweaters, socks, hand-woven textiles, turquoise and silver jewellery, Thangka paintings, Prayer wheels, Buddhist masks, and the lip-smacking apricot jam are the most recommended goods to buy.

Is it necessary to have a passport to visit Ladakh?

If you are an Indian citizen, you do not need a passport to visit Ladakh. However, if you want to visit restricted places in Ladakh, you'll need a few different licences.

What makes Leh and Ladakh so different?

Most of us use the terms Leh Ladakh interchangeably and interchangeably, however they are not synonymous. Ladakh is a newly formed Union Territory adjacent Jammu and Kashmir, and Leh is one of its districts.
Ladakh's capital, Leh, is also its largest city. The most well-known town, Ladakh, is divided into two districts: Leh and Kargil. A self-governing district council oversees each of them. If travellers are flying to Leh for the Leh-Ladakh tour, Leh is the first stop.

What is the best way to rent a bike in Leh?

The following are the steps to renting a bike in Leh:

1. When organising your Ladakh trip, do extensive research on renting a bike.

2. Locate a tour operator or company that rents bicycles.

3. There are several operators in Leh if you take a walk around the city.

4. Rather than booking a bike over the phone, it is recommended that you visit the store in person.

5. It is dependent on the type of bike you want to rent for your vacation. Despite this, the cost of a day's rent ranges from INR 800 to INR 1600.

6. You can also get advice from firms that offer Leh travel packages, particularly for bikers, about renting.

Is there a problem with oxygen in Ladakh?

You will have difficulties breathing or succumb to altitude sickness if you go at 1000 metres above sea level. It occurs owing to a lack of oxygen in the atmosphere.
