You’ll start your trip in Srinagar, where you can take boat rides around Dal Lake and shop at colorful floating markets. From there, head up into the mountains of Gulmarg where you can ski down snow-covered slopes or take a gondola ride up Khilanmarg Valley. The next stop will be Pahalgam, known for its temples, pristine pine forests and breathtaking views of Lidder River Valley.

Day 2 - Srinagar – Local sightseeing ( 50 Kms )

Morning visit to the Shankarcharaya temple (Shiva temple) which commands one of the magnificent view of the Srinagar City and the lakes. Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the NishatBagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). In the evening Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 - Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar ( 160 Kms / approx. 5-6 hrs )

Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar. Overnight at Hotel

Day 4 - Srinagar – Gulmarg ( 50 Kms / approx. 2 hrs )

After breakfast leave for Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5 - Gulmarg – Pahalgam ( 149 Kms / approx. 4 hrs )

After breakfast, leave from Gulmarg and drive to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (Vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old temple. Finally, by the lunch time you will reach Pahalgam which is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. After lunch enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast leave Pahalgam and drive to Srinagar airport.

The winter season, from October to February, is the best time to explore Kashmir. During this time, you can enjoy the snowfall, skiing, Gondola riding and other adventure activities. For family and honeymoon vacationers, this is the best time to plan a visit to Kashmir Valley. However, summer and monsoon seasons are also great for visiting the Kashmir Valley.

The best places for sightseeing and exploration for tourists in Kashmir Valley are Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Yusmarg, Pahalgam and Gurez Valley.

During the summer months (MAY/JUNE/JULY), light woollens are required for Gulmarg, Pahalgam & Sonamarg and occasionally in Srinagar. Spring & autumn (MARCH/APRIL/AUGUST/SEPTUMBER/OCTOMBER) are cold and woollens are necessary. During winter (NOVEMBER/DECEMBER/JANUARY/FEBUARY), temperatures sometimes reach minus 10 deg C in Srinagar city and heavy woollens are required.

The month of April (spring season) is the best time to visit tulip garden when flowers are in full bloom.
