In just five days, this 5 Days Poland Tour shows you the two great cities of Poland and the places that shaped its history — the rebuilt capital of Warsaw, the royal city of Krakow, the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial and the pilgrim shrine of the Black Madonna at Czestochowa — on a guided coach journey from Warsaw and back. It is planned and supported by IMAD Travel, an IATA-certified travel agency in Hyderabad serving travellers from across India since 2011. Prefer to travel at your own pace? Our team can also arrange this same route, or a similar one, as a custom package for your family or group, with your own dates and hotels — just quote the tour code IMAD-EU-61748 when you contact us. Departures run every Monday from April 2027.

Hotels with buffet breakfast, the arrival transfer, the coach with an English-speaking guide, guided tours of Warsaw and Krakow and entry to Auschwitz II-Birkenau are arranged before you leave.
Warsaw: destroyed and reborn
After your arrival transfer and a free evening, a local guide introduces you to Warsaw, Poland’s political and business capital. Almost every building in the Old Town was destroyed in 1944; what you see today was rebuilt with such care, using old paintings and photographs, that the whole district is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You walk past the Royal Palace and the market square, see the towering Palace of Culture — a gift from Stalin — and the area of the former Jewish ghetto, and end in Lazienki Park at the monument to Chopin, Warsaw’s most famous son. The afternoon is free for the National Museum or the powerful Warsaw Rising Museum.
Kielce and Auschwitz-Birkenau
The road south leads into the forested hills of Lesser Poland. You stop for lunch in Kielce, a town founded in the 11th century with an elegant cathedral and bishop’s palace, and then reach Auschwitz, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp where more than a million people were murdered. Today it is a UNESCO memorial and museum, and you have time at Auschwitz II-Birkenau, where the railway line still runs through the gate (entry included). It is a day of reflection, and in the evening you arrive in Krakow, where a walk across the lively Market Square brings you back to life.
Krakow, Czestochowa and the Black Madonna
The next morning a local guide shows you Krakow, capital of Poland for five centuries and one of the few great Polish cities not destroyed in the war. Its UNESCO-listed Old Town is a maze of medieval streets around the Main Market Square, the Cloth Hall and St Mary’s Basilica, and above the river stands Wawel Hill, with the castle and cathedral where Polish kings were crowned and buried. After lunch the coach heads north to Czestochowa and the hilltop Jasna Góra Monastery, Poland’s greatest pilgrimage site, which keeps the revered icon of the Black Madonna, before returning to Warsaw in the evening.
Who this tour suits
This 5 days Poland tour including Warsaw, Krakow and Auschwitz suits travellers with limited time who want Poland’s essential sights in one week; history lovers and those who wish to pay their respects at Auschwitz; and travellers adding Poland to a wider Europe holiday. With only one night in Krakow, it is a compact trip — for more time in Krakow and the rest of the country, the 8-day version is a better fit.
Best time to go and visa
April to October is the best time, with mild to warm weather and long days. Departures run every Monday from April 2027. Poland is in the Schengen area, so Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa. Our visa team prepares the file and books the appointment — start about two to three months before travel.
Good to know before you book
Breakfast is included every day; other meals are on your own, and vegetarian food such as pierogi and soups is easy to find. The Auschwitz visit is solemn — dress respectfully. International flights into and out of Warsaw are booked separately — our team can book them from any Indian city, and can add extra nights in Krakow. Prices start from €515 per person (₹56,700 at €1 = ₹110, October 2026) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates and season.
