Hotels with buffet breakfast, the arrival transfer, the coach with an English-speaking guide, city tours in six capitals and cities, two lunches, the Vltava boat ride, evening transfers in Berlin and Prague, and tickets to Turaida Castle, Rundale Palace, Trakai Castle, Grutas Park, the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Museum and Prague Castle are arranged before you leave.
Your journey begins with two nights in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, whose old town has kept its medieval core almost intact — towers and walls, merchant houses, church spires and cobbled lanes that climb to Toompea hill. After the panoramic tour, the afternoon is free to sit in the Town Hall Square, look over the red roofs from a viewpoint, or explore the cafés and craft shops that fill the old streets.
The road south passes through forests and plains to Pärnu, Estonia’s favourite seaside resort, before crossing into Latvia. Lunch is included just before your visit to Turaida Castle, a red-brick fortress surrounded by a large park of sculptures (entry included), and then you walk through Sigulda, a pretty town in a green river valley. Before Riga, the coach stops at the Salaspils Memorial, built on the site of a Nazi-era camp and one of the largest memorial complexes in Europe. In Riga, the largest city of the Baltics, the panoramic tour shows a medieval old town on the UNESCO list and whole streets of elegant Art Nouveau buildings, with traces of the Soviet period still visible.
An early start brings you to Rundale Palace, a golden Baroque residence designed by Rastrelli, the architect of the Hermitage in St Petersburg (entry and lunch included). Crossing into Lithuania, a strongly Catholic country, you continue to Trakai, where a red-brick castle stands on an island in a lake — one of the most photographed sights in the Baltics (entry included; on some dates the visit moves to the next day). Two nights in Vilnius give you a panoramic tour of the city on seven hills, often compared with Rome, with its Baroque churches, old walls, castle and more than a thousand medieval houses, and a free afternoon to explore.
On the way to Poland you stop at Grutas Park, nicknamed ‘Stalin’s World’, where 86 statues of Soviet leaders and heroes have been gathered in a forest park — a strange and fascinating look at the recent past (entry included). Lunch is in the lakeside town of Augustów, and you reach Warsaw by evening. The next morning a local guide shows you the capital’s remarkable story: the Old Town and Royal Palace, rebuilt after the Second World War and now a World Heritage Site, the Soviet-gifted Palace of Culture, the area of the former Jewish ghetto and Lazienki Park with the Chopin Monument. In the afternoon the coach heads west to Poznan, a lively university city with one of Poland’s most colourful main squares.
Crossing the plains to Germany, you arrive in Berlin before noon on Saturday, with the rest of the day to begin exploring. On Sunday a local guide shows you Museum Island, the Television Tower, the main shopping streets, the old cathedral, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the city’s big parks, with stops at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum. In the early evening a transfer takes you to the lively Kantstrasse area, full of restaurants from around the world.
The last drive passes through forests to Dresden, rebuilt in all its Baroque splendour, with time for lunch among its palaces. In the evening you arrive in Prague and head straight to the Old Town Square, a perfect first look at the city, with restaurants serving Czech, Indian and international food. The next day a local guide leads the panoramic tour, with entry to Prague Castle, followed by a relaxing boat ride on the Vltava (included). The afternoon is free to cross Charles Bridge, climb to the Petřín gardens or wander the Jewish Quarter.
This 13 days tour including Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Berlin and Prague suits travellers who have seen Western Europe and want quieter, less crowded cities; history lovers interested in the Baltic, Soviet and Second World War story; couples and friends who enjoy old towns, castles and café life; and families who like a guided coach tour with hotels, guides and the main visits arranged. Days between cities include several hours on the road, so it is best for travellers who enjoy the journey as much as the stops. For a shorter trip, the 7 days Baltic tour covers the first part of this route and ends in Vilnius.
May to September is the best time for the Baltics — long, bright days, green countryside and pleasant evenings in the old towns; June brings midsummer celebrations. Spring and autumn departures are cooler and quieter, so pack warm layers. Departures are on Fridays. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic are all in the Schengen area, so one Schengen visa covers the whole tour for Indian passport holders. Our visa team prepares the file and books the appointment — start about two to three months before travel.
Breakfast is included every day, with two lunches at Turaida and Rundale; dinners are on your own, and Indian and vegetarian food is easy to find in Riga, Warsaw, Berlin and Prague. Comfortable shoes help on the cobbled lanes of Tallinn, Vilnius and Prague. International flights into Tallinn and out of Prague are booked separately — our team can book them from any Indian city. Prices start from €1,625 per person (₹1,78,800 at €1 = ₹110, October 2026) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates and season.
For a shorter look at the region, see the 7 days Baltic tour of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. To add Scandinavia, take the 14 days Scandinavia and Eastern Europe tour from Oslo to Warsaw; for the south, the 13 days Balkans tour from Transylvania to Venice or the 13 days Lisbon to Paris tour with Spain and Switzerland. See every route on our Europe tour packages from India page.
