London first, then Amsterdam, with a night at sea in between. This 5 Days London Tour Package from India gives you two of Europe’s favourite cities in one short guided trip: the history and buzz of London, a ferry crossing of the North Sea, and the canals and windmills of the Netherlands. It is planned and supported by IMAD Travel, an IATA-certified travel agency in Hyderabad that has been sending families, couples and first-time travellers to Europe since 2011. Prefer to travel privately? Our team can also arrange this same route, or a similar one, as a custom package for your family or group, with your own dates and hotels. Just quote the tour code IMAD-EU-12377 when you contact us.

The arrival transfer, hotels with breakfast, the London and Amsterdam city tours, the evening in Soho, the British Museum and Camden visits, the ferry cabin and the diamond-workshop entry are all arranged before you leave. You join a small international group with an English-speaking guide.

Two days in London

You land in London on a Tuesday, and a driver takes you to the hotel. The afternoon is yours, perhaps a first walk along the South Bank. The next morning a local guide shows you the city on a panoramic tour: the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the River Thames, Westminster and Buckingham Palace, where you may catch the Changing of the Guard on the right days. In the evening the group meets at Piccadilly Circus and walks through Leicester Square, Chinatown and Soho, the theatre district, glowing with lights, with restaurants of every kind for dinner.

The British Museum, Camden and Colchester

Day 3 starts at the British Museum, one of the oldest museums in the world, where the Rosetta Stone, Egyptian mummies and Greek sculptures sit under one roof. Entry is free, and the guide helps you choose what to see first. At lunchtime you go to Camden, whose canal-side market is full of street food, vintage shops and music, which makes it a favourite with younger travellers. Around 4 pm the coach heads east to Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England, founded by the Romans, for a stroll before boarding the ferry.

A night on the North Sea

From Harwich you sail overnight to the Netherlands in an en suite cabin. It is a small adventure in itself: dinner on board, a walk on deck as England fades away, and a night’s sleep that also saves a travel day. You wake up at Hoek van Holland around 8 am.

Volendam and Amsterdam

The first stop in Holland is Volendam, a fishing village of wooden houses, a harbour full of boats and stalls selling smoked eel and fresh herring. It is the place for a family photo in traditional Dutch costume. Then comes Amsterdam: a guided tour shows the city’s classic windmill, the Rembrandt statue, the elegant South District and Museum Square, home of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, with a visit to a diamond-cutting workshop, a craft Amsterdam has been famous for since the 1600s. The tour ends at Central Station with tips for exploring the canals, the Jordaan and the flower market on your own.

Who this London and Amsterdam tour suits

This short London and Amsterdam tour suits first-time visitors to Europe who want two great cities in five days; couples on a short honeymoon or anniversary break; families with teenagers who love museums and markets; and anyone adding a few days to a business trip to London.

Visas and best time to go

Indian passport holders need two visas: a UK visa for London and a Schengen visa for the Netherlands. Our visa team prepares both files. Start about three months before travel. April to September brings long days and the Dutch tulip and summer season, while December brings London’s Christmas lights.

Good to know before you book

Cabins on the North Sea ferry are limited, so on some dates the supplier may switch to a daytime ferry with a night in Antwerp, or to a train or flight to Amsterdam. The tour ends in Amsterdam after breakfast on Day 5, so book your flight home from Amsterdam, or ask us to add extra nights there. Breakfast is included daily, and lunches and dinners are your own choice. International flights are booked separately, and our team can book them from any Indian city. Prices start from €850 per person (₹93,500 at €1 = ₹110, October 2026) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates.
