Arctic Norway in any season. This tour takes you to the Lofoten Islands and the coastal city of Bodø, with a night in Oslo before you fly home. Come in winter for Northern Lights tours on two evenings, or in summer for the midnight sun — the activities change with the season. It suits couples and honeymooners who want something quieter than Tromsø, with characterful stays: a rorbu fisherman’s cabin in Svolvær and the design-led Wood Hotel in Bodø.
Lofoten is the heart of the trip. Two nights in Svolvær give you a sightseeing tour of the islands’ fishing villages and beaches, and a sea eagle RIB safari to watch Europe’s largest eagles dive for fish. Don’t miss an evening walk along the harbour at Svinøya, where the red cabins stand on stilts over the water.
Then Bodø. A scenic boat crosses to the mainland for two nights at the Wood Hotel, with its sauna and open-air pool. Depending on season, you ride a RIB boat to Saltstraumen, the strongest tidal current in the world, or spend the day on a husky safari, and go out again in the evening for the Northern Lights or the midnight sun.
Why go now? This tour runs all year. From September to March the nights are dark enough for the Northern Lights; from late May to mid-July the sun never sets. Rorbu cabins in Lofoten are few and fill early for both seasons. Norway is a Schengen country — our team arranges your Schengen visa along with the tour. Good to know: Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and no one can guarantee them. The Lofoten, safari and light tours are scheduled small-group tours, and the activity on Days 2 and 4 depends on the season and weather. For a custom private package — your own dates, private car and guide, upgraded stays — please contact our team for a personalised quote. Breakfast is included daily. Flights from India, your flight to Svolvær and the Bodø–Oslo flight are booked separately — our team can book them for you, from any Indian city. In winter, pack thermal layers, a warm hat, gloves and waterproof boots. Prices from €2,420 per person (about ₹2,66,200) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS. Final prices are recalculated for your exact travel dates and season.
