Start your journey on Day 3 from Baiona to Vigo, covering approximately 25 km in 5 hours with a difficulty level of 2-3. Leave behind the charming town of Baiona and follow the coastline through Nigrán, passing by pristine beaches and catching a glimpse of the stunning Cíes Islands. Vigo, Galicia's bustling harbor city, awaits you at the end of this leg. Don't miss the opportunity to attend Mass at Vigo Cathedral if you wish. On the fourth day of the journey along the Camino de Santiago with IMAD Travel, you will cover approximately 16 km (10 mi) from Vigo to Pontevedra via Redondela. The route is expected to take around 3 hours with a moderate difficulty level. Enjoy breathtaking views of Vigo Bay, the Atlantic Islands, the Morrazo Peninsula, and Rande Bridge along the way. After a delightful walk through wooded areas, you will arrive in Redondela where our driver will transport you to a centrally located hotel in Pontevedra for a two-night stay. Departing from Pontevedra, head towards Combarro and Covelo for a distance of approximately 14 km or 8.7 mi, taking around 3 hours to complete. This route offers a unique experience as you deviate from the inland Portuguese Camino to follow the Spiritual Variant, tracing the final steps of St. James. According to legend, a stone vessel transported the Apostle's remains from Jaffa in Israel to Padrón along the River Ulla centuries ago. During this leg of your journey, you will pass by notable landmarks such as the Monastery of San Juan de Poio and explore the charming town of Combarro known for its iconic horreos - traditional granaries perched on pillars. Day 7 of the Covelo-Cambados leg covers a distance of approximately 20 km or 12.5 miles and takes an average of 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete. The difficulty level is rated at 3 out of 3. Today's walk promises to be a scenic one, passing through vineyards and meandering alongside refreshing streams in the forests. A highlight along the way is the visit to the historic 12th Century Cistercian Monastery of Armenteira, founded by knight Ero in 1168. The route follows the peaceful Ruta da Pedra e da Agua, a forest trail that runs parallel to a water stream dotted with over 30 medieval water mills. The day concludes in Cambados, renowned as the capital of Albariño wine, one of the world's finest white wines. Attendees can also partake in mass at the magnificent Santa Maria Dozo Church.
