London, Amsterdam, Paris, the Swiss Alps, Lake Como, Pisa and Rome — this 15 days Europe Tour Package is a guided group coach tour through seven countries, from Big Ben on the first morning to the Vatican on the last full day. It is planned and supported by IMAD Travel, an IATA-certified travel agency in Hyderabad serving travellers from across India since 2011. Prefer to travel on your own? Our team can also arrange this same route, or a similar one, as a custom package for your family or group, with your own dates, hotels and pace — just quote the tour code IMAD-EU-12749 when you contact us.

Hotels with breakfast, coach travel with an English-speaking tour guide from London to Rome, guided city tours in London, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome, the Eiffel Tower second floor, a Seine cruise, a Lake Zurich cruise, the Grindelwald First cable car with lunch on the mountain, and the overnight ferry from England to Holland are all arranged before you leave.

London: royal landmarks, the British Museum and Camden

The tour begins with two nights in London. A local guide shows you the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the River Thames, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, where you may catch the Changing of the Guard. In the evening the group meets in Piccadilly for a walk through Leicester Square and the lanes of Soho, the heart of London’s theatre district. The next morning is for the British Museum — the Rosetta Stone, the Egyptian mummies and treasures from ancient India — followed by lunch among the street-food stalls of Camden Market. In the afternoon the coach heads to Colchester, England’s oldest recorded town, and you board an overnight ferry from Harwich across the North Sea, sleeping in an en-suite cabin and waking up in Holland.

Amsterdam, Volendam and Brussels

Morning light over the Dutch flatlands brings you to Volendam, a fishing village of wooden houses and a busy harbour, where many travellers pose for a photo in traditional Dutch costume. In Amsterdam a guided tour takes in a classic windmill, the Rembrandt statue, the elegant South District and a diamond factory near Museum Square, where you watch master cutters at work. Evenings here are made for a walk along the canals, with the gabled houses lit up above the water. The next day the coach crosses into Belgium for the Atomium, the gilded guild houses of the Grand Place in Brussels and the famous little Manneken Pis, with time for Belgian chocolate and waffles, before arriving in Paris in the evening.

Paris: Eiffel Tower, Seine cruise, Versailles and Montmartre

Three nights in Paris give you time to enjoy the city rather than rush it. A day trip to Versailles shows the gardens of Louis XIV’s palace (palace entry not included), followed by the artists’ hill of Montmartre and the white domes of Sacré-Cœur. A local guide leads a panoramic tour along the Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe, the Opéra, the Louvre and Notre-Dame. The moment most Indian families remember is the Eiffel Tower: tickets to the second floor are included, with Paris spread out beneath you, followed by a Seine cruise of about an hour and a quarter past the city’s bridges and monuments. A free afternoon is yours for the Louvre, shopping on Boulevard Haussmann or a café on a quiet square.

Burgundy, Lyon and Geneva

Leaving Paris, the road runs through the vineyards of Burgundy to the medieval wine town of Beaune for lunch, then on to Lyon, France’s food capital, whose old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A funicular climbs to the basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière for a view over the rooftops and the two rivers. The next morning you enter Switzerland at Geneva, with the Palace of Nations, the flower clock in the English Garden and the tall Jet d’Eau fountain on the lake, before following Lake Geneva and the Three Lakes region through Neuchâtel to Zurich.

Switzerland: Zurich, Lake Zurich, Grindelwald First and Lucerne

Three nights in Zurich make Switzerland the heart of this Europe tour. After a guided city tour, a cruise of nearly two hours on Lake Zurich takes you to the rose town of Rapperswil, returning by Swiss train. The big Alpine day comes next: the coach drives into the Interlaken region to Grindelwald, where the Grindelwald First cable car climbs above the valley and a walk along the cliff-side suspension bridge brings the glaciers and the north face of the Eiger right in front of you. Lunch on the mountain is included — a meal with a view few restaurants can match. The afternoon is in Lucerne, with the wooden Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument and the lakeside promenade, and time for Swiss chocolate and watches before returning to Zurich.

Bellinzona, Lake Como and Milan

Crossing the Alps, the tour stops at Bellinzona in Italian-speaking Switzerland, guarded by three UNESCO-listed medieval castles. Then it is into Italy for lunch beside Lake Como, with its villas and mountains reflected in the water, and on to Milan for the Piazza del Duomo, the white marble cathedral and the glass-roofed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy’s most elegant shopping arcade.

Pisa, Rome, the Vatican and Trastevere

On the way south a tourist train takes you into the Square of Miracles in Pisa, where the Leaning Tower stands beside the cathedral and baptistery — the classic photo stop of any Italy tour. Two nights in Rome close the journey. A three-hour guided tour on foot and by coach passes the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon area and the Trevi Fountain, ending at the Vatican around midday; the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel are an optional visit. In the evening a transfer takes you to Trastevere, a quarter of ivy-covered lanes and family trattorias, for a farewell dinner of pizza, pasta or gelato under the streetlamps.

Who this Europe group tour from India suits

This 15 days Europe tour including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Switzerland and Italy suits first-time Europe travellers who want to see the famous names in one trip; families with parents or grandparents who prefer a guided, well-paced coach tour; honeymooners and couples who want Paris, the Swiss Alps and Rome together; and senior travellers who want the security of a tour guide throughout. It is also a good choice for groups of friends and extended families travelling together, as the hotels, coach and sightseeing are fixed in advance.

Best time to go and visa

April to June and September to October are the best months for this London to Rome Europe tour — pleasant weather, long days and the Alps at their greenest; July and August are peak summer and school-holiday season, so book early. Departures are on Tuesdays. Indian passport holders need a UK visa for London and a Schengen visa for the rest of the route; our visa team prepares both files and advises which consulate to apply through, so start about three months before travel.

Good to know before you book

Breakfast is included every day, plus lunch on the mountain at Grindelwald First; other meals are on your own, and every city on the route has Indian and vegetarian restaurants. Pack comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the Alps and the overnight ferry, and a small cabin bag for the ferry night. The tour ends after breakfast on Day 15 in Rome, so plan your flight home for that day or add a night in Rome. International flights into London and out of Rome are booked separately — our team can book them from any Indian city. Prices start from €2,565 per person (about ₹2,82,200, at €1 = ₹110) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates and season.
