Windmills and wooden houses, canals and diamonds, then Brussels and five days’ worth of Paris packed into three nights — this 6 Days Amsterdam to Paris Tour is a short, well-planned taste of Western Europe in an English-only group, ideal for a first trip abroad or a long weekend added to a business visit. It is planned and supported by IMAD Travel, an IATA-certified travel agency in Hyderabad serving travellers from across India since 2011. If you would rather travel at your own pace, our team can arrange this same route, or a similar one, as a custom package for your family or group, with your own dates and hotels — just quote the tour code IMAD-EU-61631 when you contact us.

Hotels with buffet breakfast, the arrival transfer, the coach with an English-speaking guide, guided city tours in Amsterdam and Paris, the boat to Marken and the Seine cruise, the Versailles excursion, the diamond factory visit, a ticket to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, and transfers to Rembrandtplein and Montmartre are arranged before you leave.
The Holland of postcards: Zaanse Schans, Volendam and Marken
After a free first day in Amsterdam, the tour sets out for the Holland most people picture in their minds. At Zaanse Schans, green wooden houses and working windmills line the banks of the river, and you can watch wooden clogs and cheese being made. Volendam is a colourful fishing village of small harbours and smoked-fish stalls, and from here a short boat ride takes you to Marken, once an island and now joined to the mainland by a dyke, where the houses were built on stilts to keep the sea out. It is a calm, beautiful morning — a very different Netherlands from the busy capital.
Amsterdam with a local guide
In the afternoon a guide shows you Amsterdam — the windmill and the Rembrandt statue, the elegant South District and Museum Square, home to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, where a visit to a diamond factory and museum (included) shows the centuries-old craft of cutting and polishing stones. The tour ends at Central Station, and the guide will help you plan the rest of your evening along the famous canals, in the street markets or in a brown café. On one of your evenings a transfer to the lively Rembrandtplein area is included.
Brussels on the way to Paris
Driving south, you cross into Belgium and stop first at the Atomium, the shining steel model of an atom built for the 1958 World’s Fair. In the centre of Brussels, home to the main European institutions, you walk into the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, its guild houses covered in gold, and past the famous little Manneken Pis. There is time for Belgian chocolate or waffles before you continue into France, arriving in Paris at the end of the day.
Paris: Versailles, Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower
Your first full day in Paris begins outside the city at the Palace of Versailles, the dazzling home of the French kings, with its famous formal gardens (the excursion is included; entry to the palace itself is not, and our team can book timed tickets for you). On the way back you visit Montmartre, the hilltop village of artists and cabarets crowned by the white Sacré-Cœur basilica, and a local guide then leads the panoramic tour of Paris — the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe, the Opéra, the Louvre and Notre-Dame along the Seine. Your package also includes a ticket to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, the best level for views across the whole city.
The last full day starts at the Maison Fragonard, a perfume museum where you learn how French perfume has been made for centuries, followed by a relaxing cruise on the Seine of about an hour and a quarter, gliding under the bridges past the city’s great monuments. The afternoon is free for shopping on the boulevards, a café on a Left Bank terrace, or the Louvre.
Who this tour suits
This 6 days tour including Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris suits first-time visitors to Europe who want the Netherlands and Paris without a long, tiring itinerary; honeymooners and couples planning a short romantic break; and families or friends who like an English-only guided group with hotels and the main visits arranged. With only one long drive, the pace is comfortable. To add London, see the 8 days London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris tour; to add the Alps, the Paris and Switzerland tour.
Best time to go and visa
April and May are the most famous months — the tulip fields are in bloom around Amsterdam — while June to September brings long days for canal cruises and evenings outdoors. Autumn is quieter and good value, and winter departures bring Christmas lights to both cities. The Netherlands, Belgium and France are all in the Schengen area, so one Schengen visa covers the whole tour for Indian passport holders. Our visa team prepares the file and books the appointment — start about two to three months before travel.
Good to know before you book
Breakfast is included every day; lunches and dinners are on your own, and Indian and vegetarian restaurants are easy to find in both Amsterdam and Paris. Entry to the Palace of Versailles is not included — book it early in the busy season. International flights into Amsterdam and out of Paris are booked separately — our team can book them from any Indian city, and can add extra nights in Paris or a day trip to Disneyland. Prices start from €890 per person (₹97,900 at €1 = ₹110, October 2026) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates and season.
