Mountains and the Silk Road in one trip. Uzbekistan Delight is our most complete itinerary: three nights in Tashkent with a full day at the Chimgan Mountains and Charvak Lake, then the Afrosiyob bullet train to Samarkand and Bukhara before returning to the capital. You stay in 4★ hotels in every city with a private car and guide throughout, and the trip starts and ends at Tashkent airport, so you can fly in from any Indian city.
It suits families and honeymooners who want variety — cool mountain air, old-town evenings and an easy final afternoon at Magic City. In Tashkent, every Indian traveller stops at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial, where India’s second Prime Minister signed the Tashkent Declaration in 1966.
Samarkand’s Registan Square is the image most people have of Uzbekistan, and staying overnight lets you see it lit up after dark. In Bukhara, the 47-metre Kalyan Minaret has stood since the 12th century above domed bazaars and quiet courtyards. Don’t miss the silk carpet workshop in Samarkand and the last emir’s summer palace outside Bukhara.
Why go now? Since 1 September 2026, Indians with a valid multiple-entry US, UK or Schengen visa can visit visa-free for 30 days; everyone else gets an e-visa online in about three working days. See our Uzbekistan visa guide for Indians.
Good to know: you change hotels three times, so a medium suitcase per person is easier on the trains. Book 6–8 weeks ahead for spring and autumn, when trains fill up. Hotels can be upgraded to 5★ or boutique heritage stays for a honeymoon. Flights are booked separately from your city. A child pays the adult rate; an infant travels free.
Welcome to Tashkent, the heart of Central Asia. After immigration and baggage collection, our representative meets you in the arrivals hall. Your private car, with complimentary Wi-Fi on board, takes you to your 4★ hotel for check-in. The evening is free — dinner at a restaurant of your choice (own payment).
