After breakfast, take a trip to Khajjiar, which is 23 kilometres from Dalhousie and 13 kilometres from Kalatop. Khajjiar is India's miniature Switzerland. A short distance from the lake is the 12th-century Khajji Nag temple. The temple's sanctum has been exquisitely carved from wood. Later, return to Dalhousie and visit Bhulwani Mata Mandir at Bara Pathar, followed by a hike up the Bakrota Hills for a spectacular view of snow-capped peaks. Additionally, see Saint John's Church. After an early breakfast, drive to Amritsar, colloquially referred to as Ambarsar. Amritsar is a spiritually significant city for Sikhs. The city is named after Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh guru, who founded the sacred pool in 1574. This holy pond goes around Harmandir Sahib, which is also known as the Golden Temple by devotees. Proceed to the India-Pakistan border at Wagah following check-in at the hotel. Watch the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony, in which soldiers from both countries bring down their national flags in their own distinct styles. After your return, pay a visit to the Golden Temple. You may visit Jalianwala Bagh and the Ranjit Museum if time permits. Stay overnight in Amritsar.
