Maldives Packages from India — All-Inclusive Island Resorts, Water Villas & ₹ Prices

Our Maldives packages from India start at ₹29,900 per person per night on a beach villa and ₹37,900 over the water. That’s a complete land package: the villa, private transfers, all meals and the island’s activities. The only thing priced separately is your airfare, quoted from your city.

IMAD Travel has been arranging Maldives tour packages since 2011, mostly for honeymoon couples, with families making up most of the rest. We contract directly with the resorts instead of reselling a wholesaler’s stock, so the prices on this page are real ones we’ll put in writing. Indian passport holders get a free 30-day visa on arrival, so there’s no visa application, no fee and no appointment.

A single service can be booked on its own. If you already have flights, we’ll book just the resort and transfers.

Plan your Maldives trip: tell us your dates, how many of you are travelling and your departure city. Vipasha will send island options the same working day.

How Much Does a Maldives Trip Cost from India?

A Maldives trip from India costs from ₹29,900 per person per night for the land package on a beach villa, and from ₹37,900 over the water. Add airfare from your city and, for some islands, a seaplane transfer. Every quote breaks down into those three parts.

People look up the Maldives trip cost from India and get answers that are wildly different. Usually that’s because they’re comparing different holidays with the same name. A ₹25,000 “Maldives package” is almost always a room-only bed in a guesthouse on a local island. A private-island resort with a dining plan, a transfer and a named villa is a different trip, and that’s the one on this page.

Here’s how a Maldives trip cost from India is made up:

Part of the costWhat decides itHow we quote it
Land packageIsland, villa category, meal plan, seasonPer person per night, in ₹, in writing
TransferSpeedboat or seaplane, set by the islandIncluded in the land package
AirfareYour departure city and how early you bookQuoted separately from your city
On-island spendMeal plan: almost nothing on all-inclusive, a lot on room-onlyWe tell you which before you book

The villa is the big number, and it’s a choice rather than a fixed cost. The number that catches people out is almost never the villa. It’s meals and transfers, the two things a headline rate quietly leaves out. If an agent gives you one blended figure, ask which of the three parts is missing.

What Do Maldives Packages Cost per Person?

Maldives packages cost between ₹29,900 and ₹79,000 per person per night across the six islands we publish, with the ultra-luxury villas above that. That’s the land package only, on twin sharing.

We quote per person per night because that’s the number you’re actually choosing between when you pick a villa. The land package is the same wherever in India you fly from. The resort doesn’t charge differently by city; only the airfare changes.

The villa ladder — what each step actually gives you

What it isFrom, per person per night
Beach villaYour feet on sand from the doorstep. Garden or beachfront, the classic Maldivian room, and the reef a short swim away.₹29,900
Water villaBuilt on stilts over the lagoon. You wake to water under the floor and steps straight down into it.₹37,900
Beach villa with private poolThe beach villa, plus a pool that belongs only to you. For people who want the sand and the privacy.₹52,500
Water villa with private poolThe one everybody pictures when they say "Maldives". Over the lagoon, own pool, own deck, nobody in sight.₹52,100
Ultra-luxuryMilaidhoo's water pool villas, Huvafen Fushi's Cube. Butler service, underwater dining, an island of 44 homes.₹1,00,300

This is the part most people get wrong. They assume the water villa is the expensive leap and quietly settle for a beach room, but usually it isn’t. At Kuramathi a water villa on full board is ₹37,900 per person a night, which is less than a beach villa on some other islands. The step that costs real money is the private pool, not the water.

So before you rule anything out, tell us your number and we’ll show you which island puts you over the lagoon within it.

Which Maldives Island Resorts Can You Book, and at What Price?

We publish six private-island resorts, from a walkable family island at ₹29,900 per person a night to a 44-villa hideaway with an underwater spa. We contract with many more. If you’ve seen an island and set your heart on it, ask. We can very likely book it, often at a rate that isn’t published anywhere.

Island by island

IslandBeach or deluxe villaWater villaWater villa with private pool
Kuramathi₹29,900₹37,900—
Velassaru₹35,000₹59,500₹66,800
Dhigali₹44,800₹53,900₹69,200
Baros₹46,000₹60,200₹73,200
Huvafen Fushi₹64,800₹79,000₹1,67,600
Milaidhoo——₹1,03,500

Per person per night, twin sharing, land package only. Airfare quoted separately from your city. Resort contracts are held in USD and converted at 1 USD = ₹97 (2 October 2026); we confirm the rupee figure in writing when we quote. Rates move through the year, so we quote your exact dates. Full villa-by-villa rates are on each island’s page.

Which island suits whom:

  • Kuramathi Maldives — an island you can walk end to end, with three pools, a kids’ club and a dive school. Our best-value overwater night, and our first pick for families.
  • Velassaru Maldives — close to Malé, so it suits a short break. Infinity pool over the beach, a resident doctor, and an ice-cream cart that finds you every afternoon.
  • Dhigali Maldives — premium all-inclusive across five restaurants in the Raa Atoll, with cinema under the stars. You never touch your wallet on the island.
  • Baros Maldives — 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, so there’s no seaplane wait. Adults-leaning, with a superb house reef and a villa host who plans your days.
  • Huvafen Fushi Maldives — 44 homes, every one with its own pool. Thakuru butler service and the underwater spa.
  • Milaidhoo Island Maldives — a 50-villa island in the Baa Atoll, which we sell as water pool villas only, beside Hanifaru Bay, where the manta rays gather. The trip people describe twenty years later.

Which Maldives Tour Packages Can You Book from India?

We build every Maldives tour package around the resort, not a fixed itinerary, because in the Maldives the resort is the holiday. These are the shapes most Indian travellers book:

PackageLengthThe shape
Maldives honeymoon package5 Days 4 NightsBeach villa, with the last nights upgraded to an overwater villa
Maldives family package6 Days 5 NightsTwo-bedroom or connecting beach villa, kids' club, speedboat island
Maldives trip package4 Days 3 NightsThe short break, on speedboat-transfer resorts only
Maldives all inclusive package5 Days 4 NightsEvery meal and soft drink covered, excursions included
Maldives water villa package4 Days 3 NightsOverwater villa with private pool and seaplane transfer

Each of these Maldives holiday packages can be quoted with or without flights, so you can see exactly what the airfare is adding. If none of them fits, tell us what you’re after. Most of our Maldives packages end up as a mix of two of these.

What Is Included in a Maldives Package from India?

Your villa, all airport and resort transfers, meals as per the resort’s plan, water sports, excursions, visa guidance and a named coordinator. Airfare is the only thing quoted separately.

What’s inside every Maldives package we book:

  • Airport transfers both ways — personal meet-and-greet at Velana International Airport in Malé, then your speedboat or seaplane to the resort
  • Meals — on the plan the resort offers for your villa, from full board to premium all-inclusive (see the next section)
  • Water sports and excursions — snorkelling gear, non-motorised water sports, and resort excursions such as a glass-bottom boat or dolphin cruise
  • Resort activities — fitness centre, yoga, evening entertainment
  • Visa guidance — your IMUGA traveller declaration prepared and checked for you
  • A named coordinator — Vipasha, on an Indian number, for the whole trip

Maldives holiday packages that look far cheaper than this are almost always room-only, and that’s the single biggest reason two Maldives quotes differ.

What Does a Maldives All Inclusive Package Actually Cover?

A Maldives all inclusive package covers your villa, transfers, every meal, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, snorkelling equipment, non-motorised water sports and the resort’s own excursions. Diving, spa, alcohol and airfare usually sit outside it.

Check the meal plan before you book, because it isn’t identical across islands. “All inclusive” in the Maldives means four quite different things:

Meal planWhat you getWhat you still pay on the island
Half boardBreakfast and dinnerLunch, all drinks
Full boardBreakfast, lunch and dinnerAll drinks
All inclusiveAll meals plus selected drinksPremium drinks, some restaurants
Premium all inclusiveAll meals across several restaurants, wider drinks list, excursionsDiving, spa, motorised water sports

Dhigali is premium all inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner across several restaurants, unlimited soft drinks, juices, mocktails, tea and coffee at the bars, restaurants and minibar, snorkelling gear, non-motorised water sports, a glass-bottom-boat trip and a dolphin cruise.

Baros is full board with a premium dining plan. Breakfast, a three-course à la carte dinner, lunch, and unlimited beverages from a selected menu across all outlets.

Never included anywhere: diving, motorised water sports, spa treatments, alcohol at most resorts, and your airfare.

This matters more in the Maldives than anywhere else. Once you’re on a resort island there’s no other restaurant, no shop and no way off, so a room-only rate means paying resort prices for every meal for four days. Our Maldives all inclusive packages put that number on the quote, not on your final bill.

What Is in a Maldives Package for Couples and Honeymooners?

Four nights, split between a beach villa and a water villa, with the honeymoon extras requested from the resort at no cost — from about ₹59,800 per couple per night. Almost every Maldives honeymoon package we book takes this shape.

Maldives packages for couples are our largest single category, and most of them are honeymoons, so the pattern is consistent enough to state plainly:

  • The split stay. Two nights in a beach villa, then the last nights out over the lagoon. You still get the morning you came for, waking with water under the floor, without paying overwater rates for the whole stay.
  • The honeymoon extras. A private beach dinner, a honeymoon cake and room decoration on arrival. Tell us it’s a honeymoon when you enquire and we’ll ask the resort. It’s free far more often than people expect.
  • The right island. Baros and Milaidhoo lean adults-only in feel. Huvafen Fushi is for couples who want a pool and a butler and nobody else in sight.

If your wedding date is fixed, book eight to twelve weeks ahead. The overwater villas sell out well before the flights do. For more honeymoon destinations, see our honeymoon packages.

Is There a Maldives Family Package for 3 or 4 People?

Yes, and it’s a different resort list from the honeymoon one. A Maldives family package needs three things the honeymoon islands often don’t have: a kids’ club, a shallow house reef, and a two-bedroom or connecting villa.

For a Maldives package for a family of 3 or 4, we also steer towards speedboat-transfer resorts rather than seaplane ones. A seaplane is spectacular, but it’s loud, has no toilet, and adds a wait at the Malé terminal that small children find hard. Kuramathi is our usual first answer for families.

Five to six nights works better than four for families, because the first day is largely travel. Extra-child and extra-adult supplements are charged per person and depend on the villa, so we quote your family’s exact make-up rather than a per-couple rate.

Which Indian Cities Do We Arrange Maldives Packages From?

From any city in India. The land package and its price are the same wherever you fly from, and airfare is quoted separately from your city.

The resort, the villa, the transfer and the meal plan don’t change because you’re flying from Delhi rather than Chennai. Only the flight does. So we price your Maldives package once, then add the airfare from your city as a separate line, so you can see both numbers clearly.

Departure cityMaldives package from your city
HyderabadMaldives packages from Hyderabad — our home city, with full flight and seaplane timing detail
DelhiSame land package and prices · airfare quoted separately from Delhi
MumbaiSame land package and prices · airfare quoted separately from Mumbai
BengaluruSame land package and prices · airfare quoted separately from Bengaluru
ChennaiSame land package and prices · airfare quoted separately from Chennai
Kolkata, Pune, Kochi, Ahmedabad and other citiesSame land package and prices · airfare quoted separately from your city

One thing the departure city does decide is which islands are practical on arrival day. Seaplanes only fly in daylight, so a flight that lands in Malé late in the afternoon can mean a night near the airport instead of on your island. We check your flight’s arrival time against your island’s transfer before we confirm anything.

How Many Days Do You Need — 4 Days 3 Nights or 5 Days 4 Nights?

5 Days 4 Nights is the sweet spot for a Maldives trip, and 4 Days 3 Nights is the minimum. Six nights or more suits families and anyone planning to dive.

  • 4 Days 3 Nights — works on speedboat-transfer islands such as Baros or Velassaru. On a seaplane island the transfer timings eat too much of a three-night stay.
  • 5 Days 4 Nights — our most-booked Maldives package length. It’s enough time for the split stay, a sandbank picnic, a dolphin cruise and one day of doing nothing at all.
  • 6 Days 5 Nights and longer — families, divers, and anyone combining two islands.

Day one is largely a travel day from most Indian cities, so count your nights on the island, not your days away.

When Is the Best Time to Visit the Maldives?

November to April is the best time to visit the Maldives for calm seas, clear water and the best diving. May to October is the best time for value: rain arrives in short bursts and rates ease noticeably.

MonthsSeasonWhat it means for your trip
November–AprilDry season (northeast monsoon)Clearest water, best visibility, busiest islands, highest rates
Christmas–New YearPeak within the peakMost resorts add compulsory gala dinner supplements
May–OctoberWet season (southwest monsoon)Short heavy showers then sun, rates ease, the same money buys a better villa
June–NovemberManta season in Baa AtollBest months for Hanifaru Bay, the reason to pick Milaidhoo

The wet season is badly underrated. It isn’t the all-day grey people imagine. If your dates are flexible at all, travelling between May and October is the single largest lever on your Maldives trip cost, bigger than any other choice you’ll make.

Because rates move through the year, we quote your exact dates instead of publishing seasonal tables here.

Do Indians Need a Visa for the Maldives?

No advance visa is needed. Indian passport holders receive a free 30-day visa on arrival in the Maldives, with no application, no fee and no appointment.

You’ll need:

  • a valid passport
  • a return ticket
  • a confirmed resort booking
  • the free online IMUGA Traveller Declaration, submitted within 96 hours before arrival

We send every client the IMUGA link with a completed example, and we check yours before you fly.

On passport validity: published guidance, including airlines’ own pages, is inconsistent, and it’s the check-in agent in India who decides whether you board. So we tell every client the same thing: travel on a passport with at least six months left. If yours is closer than that, tell us when you enquire and we’ll confirm with the airline before you book anything.

For destinations that do need a visa, see our visa services.

How Do You Reach Your Resort — Seaplane or Speedboat?

Every Maldives trip lands at Velana International Airport in Malé. From there you reach your island by speedboat or by seaplane, depending on how far the island is from the airport.

SpeedboatSeaplane
Used forIslands in the atolls near MaléIslands in the farther atolls
ExampleBaros, 25 minutes from the airportDhigali, Milaidhoo
When it runsDay and nightDaylight only
Good forFamilies, short breaks, late-arriving flightsThe view: the arrival everyone photographs
Watch out forChoppy water in the wet seasonThe daylight cut-off, a wait at the seaplane terminal, luggage weight limits

The transfer is part of the holiday, not an extra. A personal meet-and-greet at the airport, then your boat or seaplane timed to meet your flight, is included in every IMAD Maldives package.

What Is 1 US Dollar in Indian Rupees for a Maldives Trip?

We convert resort rates at 1 USD = ₹97 (2 October 2026), and confirm the exact rupee figure in writing when we quote. Maldives resorts price in US dollars, so the dollar rate, not the Maldivian rufiyaa, is the one that moves your trip cost.

Practically:

  • You pay us in rupees for the land package. There’s no need to buy dollars for the resort itself.
  • On the island, everything is charged to your villa and settled in US dollars at checkout, by card. You’ll rarely see or need rufiyaa on a resort island.
  • Carry a small amount of US dollars for tips. An international debit or credit card with low forex charges covers the rest.
  • On an all-inclusive plan, your on-island bill should be close to nothing, which is the simplest way to take currency out of the equation.

How Can You Reduce the Cost of a Maldives Trip?

Travel May to October, choose a speedboat island over a seaplane one, take four nights instead of five, or split the stay so only the last nights are over the water. Those four levers are real. Cutting the resort isn’t.

IMAD books the Maldives at the deluxe-to-luxury end, and we’re direct about that. We aren’t the cheapest quote you’ll receive, and we don’t try to be. In the Maldives the resort is the whole holiday: once the transfer leaves, there’s nowhere else to go. A saving made on the island is a saving you feel every day of the trip.

Where the number can move honestly:

  1. Season — May to October rates ease enough to move you up a villa category or two
  2. Transfer — a speedboat island avoids the seaplane cost entirely
  3. Length — four nights instead of five, on an island that suits a short stay
  4. Split stay — beach villa first, water villa for the last nights only

If your plan is a guesthouse on a local island reached by public ferry, that’s a genuine way to see the Maldives, and we’ll say so honestly. It simply isn’t what we do, and you don’t need an agent to book it.

Why Book Your Maldives Package with IMAD Travel?

Because we contract directly with the resorts, quote in rupees per person, and give you one named coordinator from enquiry to check-out.

  • Direct resort contracts. Real rates we can hold to, not a wholesaler’s resale price.
  • Honest villa advice. Vipasha will tell you which upgrade is worth the money and which isn’t. On some islands the overwater villa is the whole point; on others the beach villa has the better reef.
  • Flights matched to your island. We check your arrival time against your island’s transfer, so you sleep on your island and not in Malé.
  • One booking, one invoice. Resort, transfers, visa guidance and, if you want them, flights together. Or the resort alone if you already have flights.
  • IATA accredited, in business since 2011, with 360+ Google reviews, many of them from Maldives honeymooners and families.

Maldives Packages from India — Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a Maldives package from India per person?

From ₹29,900 per person per night on a beach villa, ₹37,900 over the water and ₹52,100 for a water villa with its own pool, as a land package on twin sharing. Airfare is quoted separately from your city.

From about ₹59,800 per couple per night on a beach villa and ₹75,800 over the water, for the land package. A typical 5 Days 4 Nights trip is four of those nights plus return airfare for two from your city.

Every package includes the villa, transfers and meals, but the meal plan differs by island. Dhigali is premium all-inclusive; Baros is full board with a premium dining plan. We tell you which plan applies before you book.

We quote the land package and the airfare as two separate lines, because the airfare depends on your city and how early you book. We can book both together, or just the resort if you already have flights.

No. The land package costs the same from every Indian city. Only the airfare changes, and we quote it separately from your city.

For a pool and total privacy, Huvafen Fushi or Milaidhoo. For a speedboat island with a superb reef, Baros. For the best-value overwater night, Kuramathi. Tell us your budget and we’ll match the island to it.

Kuramathi. It has a kids’ club, a walkable island, several pools and a dive school, and we steer families towards speedboat-transfer islands where possible.

Often not. At Kuramathi a water villa is ₹37,900 per person a night, less than a beach villa on some other islands. The step that really costs money is the private pool.

5 Days 4 Nights is ideal. 4 Days 3 Nights works on speedboat islands only. Families and divers do better with six nights or more.

No. Indian passport holders get a free 30-day visa on arrival. You’ll need a valid passport, a return ticket, a confirmed resort booking and the online IMUGA declaration.

November to April for the calmest seas and clearest water. May to October for value, as rates ease and the rain comes in short bursts.

Not from us. We book private-island resorts with proper dining plans and private transfers. The honest ways to bring the cost down are travelling May to October, choosing a speedboat island, staying four nights, or splitting the stay between a beach and a water villa.

A small amount of US dollars for tips, plus an international card. Resorts charge everything to your villa and settle in US dollars at checkout. You’ll rarely need Maldivian rufiyaa.

Tell us three things: your dates, how many of you are travelling, and your departure city. Vipasha will send island options with per-person ₹ prices the same working day.
