Rates advertised elsewhere at a fraction of these are almost always room-only. Once you are on a Maldivian island there is no other restaurant, no shop and no way off — a room-only rate means paying resort prices for every meal for four days. On passport validity, one practical note. The Maldives itself asks for less validity than most destinations, but published guidance — including airlines’ own pages — is inconsistent, and it is the check-in agent in Hyderabad who decides whether you board. So we tell every client the same thing: travel on a passport with at least six months left. It satisfies every version of the rule, and no one has ever been turned away for having too much validity.
