Most of the 7 places to see in Darjeeling are closed on Thursdays, and the forests are also closed on Thursdays. In Gangtok, the Institute of Tibetology, the Institute of Handicrafts, and the Institute of Handlooms are closed on Sundays. People can’t go through the Nathula Pass on Monday or Tuesday unless they have a permit from the army.
• In order to obtain the special permits required for sightseeing, guests must present a valid photo identification.
Hotels have a very strict policy regarding children. Please carry your proof of age with you so that it can be produced when requested.
Tickets for the toy train and cable car are subject to availability and operating days.
• The hotel’s check-in and check-out times are 1400 hrs and 1200 hrs, respectively.

We will meet and greet you upon your arrival at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Baddogra International Airport and transfer you to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in Gangtok.
After breakfast, depart for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft./37 kilometres/2 hours from Gangtok) and continue to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft./16 kilometres/1 hour from Tsomgo Lake). returning to Gangtok in the evening. Stay overnight in Gangtok. (If Tsomgo Lake is closed due to a landslide or for any other reason, we will provide alternate sightseeing.) Note: • People who want to visit Tsomgo Lake and the New Baba Mandir need to bring two passport-sized photos and a photocopy of a photo ID proof, like a passport or driving licence (Pan Card and Adhaar Card are not accepted). For children under the age of 18, a valid school or college identification card is required. The original must be carried while travelling. • If Tsomgo Lake is closed due to a land slide or for any other reason, we will provide alternate sightseeing. • Due to the winter season's heavy snow, vehicles will be able to drive all the way to Snow Point on their way to Tsomgo Lake.
Begin your day with a full-day city tour that includes stops at Tashi viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, a flower show, the Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (closed on Sunday and the first and third Saturdays of the month), the Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery, and Banjakhri Falls (maximum of 6 hours). Stay overnight in Gangtok.
Transfer to Darjeeling following breakfast (6,950 ft.). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in Darjeeling
Visit Tiger Hill in the early morning (4:00 AM) (subject to permit/token availability) and then return to the hotel. After breakfast, beginning at 8.30 a.m., visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the P.N. Zoological Park (closed Thursday), Tenzing Rock, the Ropeway, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed Sunday), the Tea Garden (outer view), and the Japanese Temple. Evenings are free for shopping or recreational activities. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Baddogra International Airport for your onward journey.
The best time to visit the North East is between March and May, or October and mid-December, when most tourists prefer to take advantage of the mild temperatures and blossoming nature. The climate is ideal for sightseeing because it is neither too hot nor too cold.
For the evenings, you should wear light woollens, such as a light sweater, shawl, or jacket. Otherwise, casual attire such as jeans and T-shirts is acceptable. However, you should bring a pair of shoes or sneakers with socks, as they will be required if you intend to go out in the evenings
Avoid purchasing products that are made from endangered species or any other type of animal. Smoking and drinking are prohibited in sacred sites. Avoid going near waterfalls as there is a risk of slipping and injuring yourself. Avoid scribbling on trees, buildings, and rocks.
Permits are not required to visit Assam, Meghalaya, or Tripura. However, visiting Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland requires an ILP, or Inner Line Permit. While an Inner Line Pass is not required to visit Sikkim, certain areas do require one: Menmecho Lake, Tsomgo Lake, Nathu La, and Kupup in the east. In the north, there are Chopta, Chungthang, Lachung, Thangu, Yumesamdong, Yumthang Valley, Lachen, and Gurudongmar Lake.
