Gondolas on the Grand Canal, the ruins of ancient Rome, Renaissance Florence, a cable car into the Swiss Alps and the lights of Paris — this 10 days tour brings the dream images of Europe together in one journey. It is a Venice tour package from India that starts in the Eternal City and ends under the Eiffel Tower, a guided group tour planned and supported by IMAD Travel, an IATA-certified travel agency in Hyderabad serving travellers from across India since 2011. Prefer to travel on your own? Our team can also arrange this same route, or a similar one, as a custom package for your family or group, with your own dates, hotels and pace — and more nights in Venice if you wish — just quote the tour code IMAD-EU-10309 when you contact us.

Hotels with breakfast, the arrival transfer, guided city tours in Rome, Florence, Venice and Paris, evening transfers in Rome, the Venice boat and Murano glass factory, the Grindelwald First cable car with lunch, the Versailles excursion, the Eiffel Tower second floor and a Seine cruise are all arranged before you leave.
Rome: the Eternal City and the Vatican
You arrive in Rome on Sunday, and in the evening a transfer takes you to Via Cavour, near the Colosseum, where you will find Italian, Indian and international restaurants. On Day 2 a three-hour guided tour combines a walk through Imperial Rome — the Colosseum, the Forum and the Capitol area — with a coach ride past the great monuments, ending in Vatican City by St Peter’s Square. You can add the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel as an optional visit. In the evening, a transfer to Trastevere brings cobbled lanes, trattorias and Roman life at its best.
Florence: an open-air museum
On Day 3 you drive north through Tuscany to Florence and go straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, where the whole city — the red dome of the Duomo, the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio — lies at your feet. After lunch a local guide walks you past the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and the goldsmiths’ shops of the Ponte Vecchio. The evening is free to enjoy Tuscan food or find an Indian meal.
Venice: St Mark’s Square and Murano glass
Day 4 crosses the Apennines to Venice. A boat takes you across the Giudecca Canal onto the island, and a local guide shows you St Mark’s Square, the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. You then watch master craftsmen blow glass at a Murano glass factory before free time to lose yourself among the canals and bridges — or to take a gondola ride. The night is spent in Mestre, on the mainland just across the lagoon, which keeps the price sensible; if Venice is the heart of your trip, we can add extra nights on the island in a custom version.
Innsbruck and the Swiss Alps
Day 5 takes you into the Alps. You stop for lunch in Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital with its Golden Roof, then cross into Switzerland to Zurich. Day 6 is the Alpine highlight: in the Interlaken region you ride the cable car up to Grindelwald First, follow a cliff path to a suspension bridge with glacier views, and enjoy lunch on the mountain (included). Afterwards you explore Lucerne, with its wooden Chapel Bridge and painted old town. Snow lovers can instead choose the optional full-day excursion to Mount Titlis, over 3,000 metres high.
Strasbourg and three nights in Paris
On Day 7 you drive to Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, where French and German cultures meet among half-timbered houses and canals, and reach Paris in the evening. Day 8 visits the Palace of Versailles and its gardens (palace entry not included), artists’ Montmartre and the grand avenues on a panoramic tour with a local guide. On Day 9 you go up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower (tickets included) and glide along the Seine on a cruise, with a free afternoon for shopping or the Louvre.
Who this Italy, Switzerland and Paris tour suits
This 10 days Rome, Venice, Switzerland and Paris holiday suits honeymooners and couples who want the most romantic cities of Europe in one trip; families who want history, mountains and Paris without planning every transfer; and first-time Europe travellers from India who want the classic highlights at a steady pace, with three nights at the end to enjoy Paris.
Best time to go and visas
April to June and September to October are ideal — pleasant for Rome’s walking tours and clear for the Alps; July and August are hot in Italy and busy in Venice; winter brings snow at Grindelwald and Christmas lights in Paris and Strasbourg. Departures are on Sundays. Indian passport holders need one Schengen visa for Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France, applied through Italy, where you spend four of the nine nights. Our visa team prepares the file, so start about two to three months before travel.
Good to know before you book
Breakfast is included daily, plus one lunch on the mountain in Switzerland; Rome, Florence, Zurich and Paris all have good Indian and vegetarian restaurants. Italy, Austria and France use the euro; Switzerland uses the Swiss franc. Wear comfortable shoes for Rome and Venice, and carry a warm layer for the mountain. Fly into Rome and home from Paris; the tour ends after breakfast on Day 10. Prices start from €1,655 per person (about ₹1,82,100) on twin sharing, excluding GST and TCS, and are recalculated for your exact travel dates and season.
