Overview

For such a tiny nation, Israel has an incredible variety of attractions for visitors. This small, colourful country is between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. Consider how much history there is, dating back to BC, that has left a symbols on the country. Add to that religious interest, modern lifestyles, and an economically developed culture, and you get a picture of the variety that exists here. Geographically, it consists of a coastline, mountains, valleys, and desert. Every tree you see was planted in a country where they would not have grown naturally.
